Not to mention, some guests may experience seizures with strobe lights. I don't really care for the ones on the parking trams. They used to be a single flashing incandescent. Now they are mini strobe beacons and they don't have a very high wattage at all. Maybe 20 if you're lucky.

Having just upgraded my FD's fleet from strobes/incandescent warning lights to LEDs I can tell you the LEDs are significantly brighter in terms of candella output, have multiple adjustable flash patterns/colors, use significantly less power (several amps less), and probably most important do not suffer from use fatigue. (where as with continued use, the strobe packs put out less light, flash less often, and draw more power)

I may be wrong on this but probably the reason why reason why you don't see crazy flash patterns is because DOT regulation require warning beacons to follow certain flash patterns based on the intended usage. For example if you look at the typical passenger train, you will see headlights in the front, with LEDs/strobes on top or in the back.

You know they could have made it more uhhh.... Peach. It is the color of the peach milkshakes from Chick-fil-a, but since there is no monorail pink anymore they could have given it a little more reddish hue.

Someone mentioned that they are not training CP to drive right now and regular FT/PT workers are behind on training. I'm paraphrasing but that was the gist of their statement.

From what I heard, the CPs that were supposed to go to Monorails this fall were re-casted to other locations. When I was there, the new (at the time) management wanted to get rid of CPs all together.
