Monorail or Ferry?

Yes, we are staying at the Pop Century, but we are doing a good bit of hopping around the parks, particularly on two days when we are going between MK and Epcot. There is one day where we are spending the day at Epcot and eating dinner at BoG, and on our last day in the parks we will start in the MK to revisit some of our favorites before heading to Epcot to finish out the trip at WS that evening. Our first day there, we will be heading straight to MK after checking in at the Pop, and we may decide we don't want to wait for the bus, depending on what time we get to the hotel (our first FP+ is at 3:40, and I don't want to miss it lol... shouldn't be an issue, but you never know!)

It's true that the thread was more about best means to get to MK as necessary, but since we'll be going around the World a few times, this may apply to me too :)

Alright, I think waiting for the bus is faster than parking but the Monorail and Ferry are more fun. If you have a car, it's faster to park for all the rest of the parks. I don't claim to be an expert though.

Monorail at park close is a bear. Actually most any transportation right at park close is horrible! I wait around a bit, and shop or just chill until some of the crowds disperse.;) But, in terms of fastest- monorail. The ferry is slow and relaxing.

Well, considering that the two days we are definitely park hopping there may be alcohol involved, monorails/ferry/buses will definitely be our mode of transportation on those days ;) On that first day, I'm thinking we may end up waiting for the bus anyway just because we plan to utilize the evening EMH and will probably not feel like driving back to the hotel at 2 am lol. We're driving down on Saturday, spending the night with friends, and then eating lunch somewhere cheap before we head to the hotel to drop our stuff off and go to the MK. So there's really no reason we should be in a position where we can't be at MK for that first FP, but I like to give myself a plan B (and a plan C when possible) just in case.

Thanks for the info! Very helpful :)

never in a hurry - It's Disney. If you're stuck waiting - focus on something beautiful that you won't find back home....for me its warmth and sunshine in the middle of March!

I love both methods of transportation, but if you get the chance to ride the Ferry as Wishes is going on it is truly an amazing experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer the monorail, but I always try to do both each trip. It's still not every day you get to go on a man made lake towards a magical castle with lands full of wonder.
