Monorail Breakfast

Chef Mickey's has always been mediocre.

I will have to assume the first few times we went we caught them on incredibly good days, then.

My favorite is chef Mickey's. We actually went there for a send off dinner instead of a breakfast, and it did not disappoint.

I wouldn’t stress about reservations to Kona, GF Cafe, or the Wave... you’ll find plenty of availability.

I’d say take a look at each menu and decide what dish looks best. I love the lobster eggs benedict at GF Cafe, but I also love the coffee and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes at Kona. Nothing on The Wave menu has struck me as a must-do. All personal preference.

Ohana is a must-do character meal for us. Kiddo love the Stitch waffles (they’re not Mickey at this restaurant)... I love any meal that’s family style.. and we both love the little parade. Food has always been good there.

Staying at the Contemporary you’ll probably eat breakfast on the monorail more than once, pick one character meal and then try at least one of the non-character meals.

Kona Cafe at Poly--a must! We always make it a point to have breakfast there at least one day of our trip. And, it's steps from the Monorail.

Yep...best thing on the menu

We each got something different in March and my BIL helped everyone eat their breakfast and determined that my pineapple macadamia pancakes were, in fact, the best of our 4 meals LOL.

Yes, definitely a pro tip. Tonga Toast is cheaper at Captain Cook's (doesn't come with a side, but it's still a difference of nearly $6)
