from somebody who deals with automotive wiring all day long i would say in theory it would be as easy as said but thats my theory and mine alone.
but the whole monorails where delivered in sections so assuming they are all wired the same it would give you what we call plug and play interchangability not knowing for sure but i dont see a problem
