I'm intrested to know the costs of the big E-tickets over the last 10 years or so. I'm talking...
Tower Of Terror
Rock N' Rollercoaster
Splash Mountain
Test Track
Alien Encounter
Buzz
Dinosaur

I'm not really intrested in AK plus how much does the average 3D show (ie. ITTBAB)
Thanks:slurp:

Splash Mountain costed Disney $90 million to build.

Test Track costed GM/Disney $60 million to build.

Don't hold me to this exactly, but I am pretty sure that RnRC only cost $20 million. Either way, I remember hearing that it was substantially cheaper than any of Disney's other major E-tickets.

They spent $100 million on CTX?!? Tell them to return the receipt. Look at how much better Indy at Disneyland turned out for the same price.

Maybe if they would quit hiring three assistant shift supervisors for one attraction they could build more E-tickets. :)

I think TOT cost $150 MIL and at ONLY 20 mil RNRC is a bargain.
My Favourite.

Yea I dont think they got their money's worth out of Dinosaur.

RNR cost less since it is a regular Roller Coaster, If they didn't theme it, it would have only been no more than 10 million

If I'm correct, Buzz was the cheapest of the E-Tickets. I'm not 100% sure on the total, but it was something ridiculously cheap.. like less than 10 mill... I'll ask around.

I was watching a show on the Travel Channel a while ago about Disney, and it said that Test Track was the most expensive ride, On Disney Property.... U siad that Splash was 90million and Test Track was 60million so, If its true about TT then It has to be alot more than that... I also heard someone say that ToT was 150million.... If im on the right subject (and im making a fool of myself cause im talking about something different  :hammer: ) then my guesses would be that TT is around 250million....

I was reading somewhere that Mission Space is going to cost 230-250million dollars....

Of course i may be on a different story, and ill be embarrassed cause im talking about something different. :brick:

Test Track was not the most expensive ride at WDW. It may have been if they figured in the millions they had to pour into it for two years to get it working, but it was not supposed to be.

Mission Space is going to cost around $125 million if I remember right.

>>>it is... I didn't label it..<<<

I never said you did label it. However, I can't believe that even Disney can consider Buzz an E-ticket, especially with MIB down the street.

Dont know the prices, Did they have trouble with TT so it costed them more? There was a whole bunch of guys from WDI and... one of the guys i dont remember his name... But he said it is definately the most expensive ride on Disney Property...

If u go to Screamscape.com it says 230million, Although i wonder about the site sometimes, And its overseeing prices and rumours they have...

Where do u find out the price for the ride attractions? I have always wondered them for a few...

Mabey the animatronics had something to do with it. Wasn't the big T-Rex a very hi-tech animatronic? That might have jacked the price up. I havent rode Indy at DL for a long time, so I dont remember it much, but did it have as much complicated animatronics? I remember a big snake, though.

>>>It (Test Track) was budgeted at about $100 million and came in around $160 million.<<<

The Travel Channel special, and GM's press releases, say the ride cost $60 million (initially).

>>>If u go to Screamscape.com it says 230million<<<

230 million bags of dog food? I think Screamscape speaks for itself. :)

Besides, there is no way in hell that is going to spend that kind of money on an attraction. As much as I would love to see Disney build more E-tickets, if they spent over $230 million on one attraction I'd have to step back and say that is too much.
