moderate resorts

We just got back from our 4th year in row at the WDW and we are already planning for next year

We have stayed at the Pop and 3x PORFQ. We really like the FQ because of atmosphere, being a smaller resort and the fact you have another option for transport (the boat to downtown). We have always stayed building 5 riverview rooms.

This year we noticed that the PORFQ alot more people and quite a few high school groups, which were loud. We do not want to return to Value (too many people) but are not quite sure if deluxe is worth the extra $.We are thinking of moving on to another moderate resort. Do anyone have a favorite moderate resorts? Why is it your favorite and is there any special rooms , buildings or views we should should look for?

My family and I have stayed at CBR twice and CSR once. Our preference is CBR, mainly due to the theming and the better pool (more slides and a good kids area). We loved walking through the island with reggae music playing. That being said, they are both good resorts.

A key to happiness is requesting the right building. At CBR we stayed in Jamaica 45 and loved it, close to everything. At CSR we stayed in the farthest building from the pool and the restaurants and hated it.

We prefer the Moderates to the other levels. Deluxes have more amenities and slightly larger rooms, but lack food courts. We like food courts. Values are too small and crowded.

Of the Moderates, CSR has the fanciest rooms and the best feature pool. CBR has the brightest theming. POR has the most amenities and best food. We haven't stayed at POFQ. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Be sure to request a room close to whatever is most important to you, because they are all large resorts with winding paths.
