Interested to know if you will be buying the new Mobile Magic application from Verizon-Disney?

Its $9.99 for 180 days of use, and available for some handsets on Verizon.

No. Not on Verizon, but wouldn't pay that amount of money for something for that length of time. Wouldn't need 180 days worth of use and I doubt that many people would either.

I don't have Verizon so it's not even an option for me.

That said, if I did have Verizon and it were maybe $10 for a year, eh...maybe. But as it stands, I'm there so often I don't know how much I'd use it. Maybe looking up FastPass return times and such but...eh. It's ok but I don't know that I think it should be a paid service.

ATT iphone here and wouldn't pay that amount of money per half year for something I can get for free by looking at the tip board.
They should just do as Universal has done with it's sponsorship and make it free on the internet. BTW all rides at IoA are walk on right now!

Also, Uni has been texting wait times to people in the park for HHN for the past few years. Every 15 minutes you get an up-to-date tip board right on your phone, and for free! You can't beat that.

Hope to use it when out at Disneyland for the first time a month from now.

Seriously 10 bucks for 6 months really isn't expensive.

I agree, think that it is only costing like $1.665 a month, heck folks pay more than that for a the toll gate here in VA and that is one way. I really would be willing to be paying that so I would not have to stop at a time board that other guest will be trying ot look at.

I'm on Verizon and an AP so I could make use of this, but $9.99 for six months is a little steep in my opinion. From what I've read, the app doesn't tell you the exact wait times, which is the feature that I'm most interested in, so that's another negative for me.

Sure, it might work out to that per month, but how much will it cost per day for use while you are actually in the parks?

I don't see the point of this app other than fastpass times and wait times. That doesn't do much good unless in the parks. If you only spend 7 days in the parks during those 180 days, it's $1.43 per day.

As long as you have internet on your phone..there is no need to purchase the app. My fiance and I tried it last night w our verizon phones and it worked. I could be wrong...:)

I might actually try downloading it in January when i head down. It might be nifty. Heck, if it saves me the transportation time from one crowded park to a lesser crowded park, it pays for it's self. It's a cool idea...

I'm assuming the free mobile app doesn't have specific time information or fastpass information just time levels (see now, moderate, heavy), and an available/unavailable declaration for fast pass
