Its not entirely about getting around restrictions. Android is very open and allows you to install whatever applications you want on it without having to go directly through a specific store unlike iphone and itunes. Since its off topic and with respect to the forum and its admins I will type up a quick pm for you in a little bit. Stay tuned.OK, I want to learn something.
What does it mean to "root" a phone, or to "side load" an app. And what are ".apks" and why do we want to pull them off?
I tried context clues, but I am still not exactly clear. I know these things have to do with getting around restrictions. But I would really like to know more than that.
Thanks,
Paul
Mobile Magic is to be discontinued. See http://www.wdwmagic.com/Resorts/Wal...launch-NextGen-'My-Disney-Experience'-App.htmThis app is still unavailable for my Android. Do they ever plan on having this available for the droids in Canada?
