I'll be there. If you see a 6'5" guy in a Pooh Bear costume, try not to laugh.

Teehee! Sorry.

The thought of wearing a full body costume (like the CMs also do) doesn't sound like fun in the FLA weather. I kept this in mind when we were costume shopping for our Sept 22nd MNSSHP. I wound up getting a vampire costume that has a lightweight robe to wear.

BTW... we want Pooh Bear pictures! :D

Hey everyone. The first party went ok, in my opinion (only because it rained for a great deal of the party. I didn't get to see the parade unfortunately, but from what I could hear the fireworks sound amazing. Also, there are the characters. These are some of the ones I found out.

Toontown
*Alice
*Mad Hatter
*Walrus
*Tweedle Dee and Dum
*White Rabbit
*Queen of Hearts
*Little Einsteins
*Mickey
*Minnie
*Cinderella
*Prince Charming
*Princess Aurora
*Prince Phillip

Fantasyland
*Pooh
*Eeyore
*Tigger
*Piglet
*Snow White and 7 Dwarfs (pictures ONLY)

Adventureland
*Aladdin
*Jasmine
*Genie
*Abu
*Tarzan
*Jane (I think)
*Rafiki
*Timon
*Baloo
*King Louie

There was also a villian show at the castle, and a couple of dance parties with characters (one at Ariel's Grotto, I think, and one at Cosmic Rays)

Looks like the same characters as last year....hope there are some others besides that list

Just incase anybody is planning on staying in the park w/o a wristband in order to catch the parade/fireworks...

Tried it last night. Was asked (very nicely) to leave by 5 different CM's in about 20 minutes before giving up and leaving. I'm sure it IS possible to stay, but I didn't think it was worth the hassle. And I was pretty depressed to leave, it looked COOL. So save yourself the heartache, buy a ticket...I sure know I will as soon as a CM discount night pops up.

(In my defense, I was working during the free CM preview)

True story, I saw Pinocchio bust a phat move last year at Ariel's Grotto.

It was the highlight of my trip seeing him dance around to whatever Lindsay Lohan's song that was out then was.

I know some CMs who aparently got discounted tickets at Company D for last night. I was told at Company D a while ago that if there are extra tickets you can buy them last minute at a discount so you should just check there and go when it's convienent.

Oooh, good to know!

Apparently, about 10 CM's were actually terminated for staying in the parks w/o a wristband last night...I'm quite glad I left!

Drew, I will tell you, prepare to be VERY stunned when you see Jack Sparrow. He looks absolutely INCREDIBLE this year. Some people think we hired Johnny Depp....

Yeah I paid full price for mine (actually my mom did as she's coming down to visit for the next little bit) but two of my friends were going last night and I think they said they got their tickets at a discount, and I'm 90% certain it was at Company D... I'm 99% certain on my memory of the info they gave me weeks ago when I inquired (before my mom bought our tickets).

Well, my left brain got a hold of my right and slapped it around for even thinking about wearing a full length coat of fur to a hot park. I'm glad it did because it was hot and sticky until around 7 and then it started to rain. And pooh bears don't like to be wet ya know! I was feeling bad about the costume until a special CM with a talent for face painting cheered me up. See my trip report in a seperate thread for the full story.
