Hi everyone I just wanted to know if anyone had any tips or suggestions regarding MNSSHP. We will be in WDW at the end of Sept. Is this party worth attending if we don't have any children? Thanks for any help :)

We were not blessed with children and we are both in our 40's. We love going to the party. Nothing better than being an adult and getting to go trick or treating.

This year they are offering it twice during our stay, and my husband is begging to go to both!

The first time I went was last year on the first day of the party when it rained the whole time. WE LOVED IT!!!!!I was also 7 months preggo but still had a great time. We have actually moved our trip from May to October so we can go to the party. Its sooooo worth it:wave:

Yes you should go!!! I took my parents when I was on my CP and they visited me. A friend from my CP and I are meeting in WDW in October to go to MNSSHP and F&W. We can't wait!!!!

We had a blast when we went last Sept. We did have our 5yo DD with us but I'd definitely go again even if she weren't with us. It was a blast getting dressed up and seeing other adults do the same thing! :D

I was Snow White...red bow, bright red lipstick and all! As we were coming to the Party and MK park guests were leaving, I was stopped about 3 times by families who wanted my autograph or to take a pic with their kid. I certainly did mind but I made sure the parents knew that I wasn't the 'real' Snow White.

Our first MNSSHP was with our 1 year old also at the end of Sept time frame. We took him so we could enjoy it knowing he wouldn't remember. That way we weren't obligated to go again if it wasn't "all that". It was all that and we now include it as part of our plans (this Oct will be our 3rd).

I highly recommend the event to anyone who enjoys Halloween and Disney. It's a great event that can be fun for anyone, with or without kids. You may have more fun without kids as you can stay until the park closes at midnight and go on any ride you choose.

The Mickey's Very Merry Christmas is another well planned event. Lot's of fun to be had at either!

Yes--this is a great party. My partner and I went last year, and it was great seeing the costumes, the parade (especially) and the atmosphere of the park.

We wanted creative costumes, but nothing that would take up luggage space, so I designed some t-shirts as if we were Naboombu tourists. The design was meant to have a 50s tourist feel. And I also made a paper mache "Star of Astoroth" and referree whistle to hang around our two necks (all from Bedknobs and Broomsticks). Only a couple people recognized the references, but that was enough to make us happy.

You'll have a great time during MNSSHP! I've done 04,05 and Will be attending 08's! I'm hoping to go 2 times out there. It's the only time where you can dress up in costume. I like Cosplaying from different Animes that I like..In 2004 I was Great Sayainman from Dragonball Z, in 2005 I was Link from Legend of Zelda. This year I'll be Sora from Kingdom Hearts 2..It's even better that the one party lands on my birthday!

Last year was my first MNSSHP and it was fabulous!! We had a group of six (all over 40 and some over 50) and we had a great time. We are from Pittsburgh and all of us wore our Steeler football jerseys as our costumes. This got us a salute from Capn Jack Sparrow during the parade which made a great night even better!! :sohappy:

Go . . . you will love it!!!!!

We have visited twice and we have no children! It's a great experience and has to be tried at least once IMHO. My one tip would be to dress up - we didn't and regretted it - people put a lot of effort in and it makes people watching even more interesting :D

We visited last year as part of our Honeymoon trip and it was one of the best experiences we had in WDW.

The extra decor and lighting, the excellent parade and fireworks and the fact that if you go mid-week you can pretty much walk on most rides meant is was definitely worth it for us.

Neither of us were in costume, but it made no difference and it was fun to see others who had made the effort.

Highly recommended!
