MNSSHP parade

I’m so anxious    this will be our first time going to MNSSHP in October. We are staying offsite and want to make the most of our time in the park that night so we’ll get to the park for 4pm but I also know my family will probably want to eat supper late. What time do the QS locations close? & do you think if we eat outside at Peco Bills’ we can also watch the parade?

I would try and get some kind of dinner in your system before the party officially starts. i.e. grabbing something at Peco BIll before 7pm. As for the parade, I prefer the 2nd parade b/c of crowds. We did this in 2013 ... swooped in for a parade spot just after the first parade which put us in a great position for the castle show as well as Hallowishes.

You may want to bring something with you. That way you can eat when you're hungry without having to lose time waiting in a line. Pick something that won't spoil easily, throw it in an insulated bag with an ice pack and you're good to picnic anywhere whenever you feel like eating.

If you like planning, here is my usual MNSSHP schedule.

In the park at 4 pm. Ride a few rides. Dinner at a QS place around 5 pm.
Trick or treat, rides, character meet and greets.

Stage show at 8:50
Stay in the same spot for Fireworks at 9:30
Move to the Main st train station for the second parade at 10:30

Rides until midnight.

Last year Columbia House closed at 5pm. We planned on eating there before the party and were turned away. Pecos was open till 9 (I think), but they started closing seating areas around 6. Our section got closed while we and another family were finishing our meals.
I would recommend eating well before the party starts at 7, maybe hit something around 4:30-5 and then snack throughout the evening. You are paying for a special event, why waste an hour or even half an hour eating?

Semi -related question! Since your park admission is included in the price for the party (but you can't enter until 4 pm). If you use one of your park ticket admissions in the morning at a different park then go to the party, that is okay? Example - I'm hoping to be able to go to Animal Kingdom in the morning then go to Magic Kingdom for the party and not have to buy park hopper for the rest of my time in the World.

Yes that would work. MNSSHP is a hard ticketed event that normal admission media does not apply.

Thanks for this breakdown. This will be my first year attending the party, so I wasn't sure how to navigate it.
