Last time we went in 2003 there was a guy in full stormtrooper outfit...helmet, blaster, everything. The costume was movie quality as well. VERY COOL. Not a cast member either becuase he had the helmet off a few times. He was popular for photo ops I'll tell you that!!

Hmm, the coolset I saw was last year, this (12-ish) girl was Ursula and this costume rocked!!!! It was so amazingly detailed! Oh! By the way, my friend and I will be ging as the Phantom and Christine this year on the 21st! Next year will be the Corpse Bride and Victor, and the following year The Attic Bride and Master Gracey. lol, should be interesting

I heard about the Jessica Rabbit and Eddie Valient but forgot about it when I posted. I heard the dress was pretty much painted on and slit up to there! Can't wait to see what I see tonite!

Wanted to post the costumes I saw tonite that stood out. It did rain during the first hour of the event so many guests removed their costumes, but here are the memorable ones from night 2....

1) Pocahontos, John Smith and Meeko--Mom was pocha, 2 boys were John and Meeko

2) Tweedles and Alice--Mom and dad were tweedles, daughter was alice

3) Cinderella, Charming, Suzy and Anastasia (the stepsister)--2 cute and original

4) Wizard of Oz family---Scarecrow, Tin Man, Dorothy, Cowardly Lion (who had removed his by the time I saw him), Glinda, Wicked Witch of the West, the Wizard and Uncle Henry

5) My fave for the night was the Haunted Mansion family-- Dad was gravedigger, mom was madame leota, one son was a hitchhiking ghost, the daughter was the bride (can't remember her name) and I can't remember what the other son was, but he looked kinda like an attractions host (but he wasn't that). TOO AWESOME!!!

I can't wait for Thursday!!

Saw that family too. Very well done, IMO. Did you see the group of 20 dalmations and Cruela? How about the man dressed in a Tinker Bell outfit. :lookaroun

The picture of the tinker bell guy was scary. I have tried to convinced my 2 year old son to dress as someone else than Peter Pan but he insists on going as Peter Pan. So we could add another Peter Pan to the collection of Peter Pan's. Can't wait until the 21st.

3) Peter, Wendy, John and Michael--Little boy was Peter, mom was wendy and the 2 grown men were john and Michael...complete with pink pj's, teddy and blanket!

We did the same thing. My son was Peter Pan, my daughter was supposed to be Tink but refused to wear her costume so she was a pirate, and my best friend's kids were Wendy, Michael, and John. All 4 adults were pirates. I can't wait to get our group photo in the mail!

Here's some pics:

In my experience, it’s always been a good collection of both. Of course, overall, I tend to see more children in costume but there are usually a significant number of adults as well.

Edit: That's not a stupid question. :D

For anyone who has been there...can adults wear masks? I heard somewhere you can't and my costume involves a mask. can someone verify this for me?

Thanks!

On the books, No. If it's something scary then no way for sure.
