If we go this year I will definitely be donning the Captain Jack gear again.

My family (and friends) will be dressing up with the Alice in Wonderland theme. So far these are the characters we have decided upon:
(please suggest more characters)

Mad Hatter
Alice little 8 yr old daughter
Alice large myself
Chesire Cat 2 yr old daughter
Queen of Hearts
Tweedle Dee (no Dumm yet)

We did Alice last year and it worked out great with all the Alice characters on the path from Space Mountain. My daughter was Alice. My wife was the queen, My son was the doorknob and I was the Ace of Clubs. The doorknob went over big time. The Queen of Hearts called her court over to do a picture with me as well. Great time.

We'll be there on Sept. 21st. Not sure what characters yet. My wife wanted to do Narnia, but I told her that I'm not going to be the balding, pot-bellied High King Peter. :ROFLOL: We're at a standoff. We'll have to wait and see who wins.

I am going on October 3rd. Im trying to get my boyfriend to be Mr. Incredible and I will be Mrs.

He is undecided but I told him it is only a shirt and black pants, so I think I am easing him in to the idea :D

As some of you know everything for me last year fell apart at the last min. This year as long as I make it for the party I may do anything from what I planned last yr. (Wilbur Robinson) to Flounder from TLM Musical (thinking that will be another yr. after I get the costume made) or *shudders* something non Disney like Ben from Ben10/Ben10 Alien Force. Heck maybe more then one of those if I do more then one party???

September 26 - Halloween Tees for all; light up horns for the daughter, light up bunny ears for daughter's best friend; some crazy hat for me; husband is wearing pirate bandana from Disney Cruise with his POTC tee; son has indicated any headwear at this point.

I'll be there too! I am considering being Dolores Umbridge - what do you guys think?

Go for it! We always need more pink villians!

Last year my group were all going to go as Death Eaters but we thought better of it because they don't like adults wearing masks. We did pirates and had a blast.

(Maybe we'll be Death Eaters if they do a big opening for the Harry Potter land at Islands of Adventure.)

Oh, can we see a picture from last year? I would love to see the door - what a cool idea!

My wife and I will be at the September 12th party. I'm going as Ben Tennyson from Ben 10, but she's not sure if she'll be dressing up.

*shakes fist* stealing my idea lol. Well as long as I don't go the same day & I was going for alien force Ben anyways. (in my mind I can still pass as 15 with the way I act) The only thing that wouldn't let me pass as the real deal is that I don't have green eyes but my hair is almost perfect for it. But if I did want to go the same day you could change your mind & go as Kevin & your wife as Gwen then we could have the whole group there?:animwink:

Please help with MNSSHP

Hi, We are planning on going in September and my husband and I have taken our 7 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter for the past 3 years and we all absolutely love it. Since our first MNSSHP we have also been to two P&P's and my husband now says that he will only go to the MK during a special event since we are so spoiled with little to no lines. So what's the problem? We are planning a trip with extended family in the fall and they are afraid that it will be too scary for a 2 yr old? My children have both handled it well but they are afraid that some of the adults costumes are too scary and gory? I haven't noticed this, but maybe I'm just caught up in the magic. Can someone give me some feedback as to what your thoughts are? Is it too scary for a 2 yr old?

 That would be awesome!

I actually don't look anything like Ben - I'm blonde with glasses. So I'll really only look like him from the neck down!
