MMRR Queue Carpet in Horrible Shape

The carpet that is there looked exactly like that, as far as the wear, a week ago when I started this thread.
Back in the day the Great Movie Ride was closed for 6 months for rehab. When GMR reopened we went again and the only thing we noticed that was different was the thick new carpeting . The carpet was the same color as before.

@HauntedPirate @DisneyCane @wdisney9000 my apologies, I did not realize that the standby queue carpet was the mess that it is. I was only looking at the new carpet on the ramp before the pre-shows. I just saw the standby side tonight and, to all of your points, it's definitely in an unacceptable state. Hopefully they replace this sooner than later.

I would love to know how things like this happen. Is that the DHS Attractions budget doesn't have enough to spare for a new carpet right now?

Okay I was prepared to say that this was hyperbole, but I saw it tonight, and, my god - the queue looks horrible. In addition to the carpet being warn down everywhere, there are literally holes in the walls, chipped paint, everything. I'm not sure I've ever seen a WDW queue looking this bad outside of Buzz, which always looks bad.
