Detroit is a nice story and beating Houston would be fantastic…..hopefully they can finish tonight

In the last 4 years, we’ve been to Camden Yards as many times as Truist (Atl Braves home Park)…Camden is so nice and so is the Inner Harbour….i hope the Os can figure out how to win in the Postseason as we see the Braves and Dodgers bow out every year.

The Os young team has plenty of stars…if you want to use a Team as a pattern of what not to do, look no further than the Braves. They have locked up to long term contracts every position player save SS and LF. The lineup looked a little stale BEFORE the injuries hit and we expect to trot the same 7 Core out next year. We’ll see what happens….

Good luck tonight
When it comes to reloading , the Mets , Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers will be plucking the young guys from the min MLB wage payroll Orioles, and other lower paying teams etc and giving them offers these guys will not refuse. Money talks .

Which is one of the reasons why MLB is the only sport that has had a decrease in average attendance over the past 20 years, and the least increase in revenue of all major sports.

Yes

And plucking some of those young guys might help a small market roster in need of turnover

MKB is really reaching to gain attendance….a few examples are the Field of Dreams, next year’s Speedway Classic, this past year’s Rickwood , etc….

The past few years you can grab tickets on the secondary market for pennies on the dollar….

Flip side of EPL ( 1st division UK football ) the big money teams Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea ) buy and contract the most expensive players in the goal to win titles but all teams in league play to sold out stadiums consistently. The loyalty of fans winning or losing seasons in the UK is next level compared to fans cheering on their teams in the USA

NCAA Football fans are the same, in the SEC for sure. There rarely a cheap ticket to see Bama, Georgia, Tennessee on their campus’…..shockingly, those Kick Off Classics to begin the season often have a cheaper $$$$ than a home game against one of the directional teams

I've been following Rutgers and they sold out their stadium when they beat Washington but the stadium was almost empty when they crushed Howard at home earlier in the season.

Not everyone that leaves the Orioles goes to the Yankees, just saying. Outside of getting Soto this year, they haven't really been plucking talent from other teams.

They have and in the future they will but most important they are in the post season, the O’s are not. 😅 I can see a Subway Series !

As a Braves fan. 👋🏻 Phillies 🚪

Now Padres need to not choke this series lead
Braves Fan as well….The Dodgers are our West Coast equivalent….glad Mr June Freddie is now leading them to 1st Round exits….

Brave and Dodgers have been the bow out early twins for quite some time….looks like the Orioles might be making a case for Triplets….

Originally from San Diego and hope they pull through…..

Anyone notice since the MLB Playoffs expanded and crafted the Bracket format….

ZERO, NOTTA, not even ONE National League Division winner has won a postseason series? Dodgers can end that if they beat the Padres….

Another thing…..being from San Diego….did they not pay attention to the Braves in the 90’s?

Cease Pitching on 3 days rest? The ONLY Title the Braves won in the 90’s was ‘95 BECAUSE they didn’t skip Steve Avery in WS Game 4. We went up 3-1 with Game 5 started and lost by Maddox (another Mr June). Game 6 Glavine pitched a 1-hit masterpiece and we danced in the streets….

3Days rest lost the ‘91 WS, with dead armed Glavine barely making it through the 5th inning of Braves Game 5 blowout …. We used up the bullpen in that game, and went back to Minnesota up 3-2….one thing people don’t realize is SKIPPING Liebrandt for his scheduled start MADE HIM AVAILABLE TO OITCH OUT OF THE BULLPEN IN GAME 6….Kirby anyone?

To the Declining Attendance Crowd

MLB lead headline this morning was “Yankees impress Taylor Swift…”
