Even before this they were waiting for the MLB owners to vote on the sale wonder if the process will be sped up or slowed down now that he has passed.

He worked in the O’s front office when I was a child. I will never forget I had written him a letter showing my support for the team and asking for player autographs and he sent a bunch to me.

Proud Dad , ex Yankee pitcher Al Leiter watched his kid 23 year old Jack, $7.9M bonus kid from a recent MLB draft ( 2nd pick ) make his starting pitching MLB debut for TX at DET. Jack got rocked for 7 runs in the first 3 innings but the Rangers still won the game. Jack struggled at AA ball but the Rangers called him up for his first MLB start. The kid was the best high school pitcher in NJ, then pitched 2 years at Vanderbilt before turning pro.

In my InBox I keep receiving Flash Sales for Philly, Baltimore, Washington, Tampa, Miami and Atlanta. This is surprising even for the typical slow times before school lets out.

Not only are discounts showing up via email, down here in Atlanta $100 spent at big orange gets you two free Braves tickets....
