mkt's 5/3/05 Epcot pics... thrills, chills, and the GM VIP Lounge at Test Track!

What can be said... fun day, park was dead. DEAD. The longest wait we had was 5 minutes.... FOR SOARIN (and that was just the time it took to walk the queue). One thing though... why where there skydivers over Epcot?

somebody at GM really needs to dress up that corporate lounge. it is so dull. but then again, GM is facing some major $ problems, the lounge probably isnt high on the priority list........

As Turkey said.... It seems like everytime Disney has a press event they have sky divers... so they are just getting in a few practice landings before the 5th... Remember.... safety first!

I won't get to ride Soarin' until November...can't wait! What are the camera mounts for? The ubiquitous "I road Soarin' at EPCOT" photo? Or some part of the ride projection system?

Thanks for the pics, Rob! I love the GM Lounge! It's got the best view of all the VIP lounges! I love the way you can see all the pavillions laid out from up there.

What are the camera mounts for? The ubiquitous "I road Soarin' at EPCOT" photo? Or some part of the ride projection system?

The mounts are only temporary and are used to get video of people riding the ride.

I really enjoyed the GM lounge...they had a nice setup. Good view of EPCOT too.

Very Cool Lounge. I Like the Crystal Clear Shots. Im happy to hear is was quite dead there, im going on the 27th. And the skydivers are all over florida. Near Boynton beach, near my grandparents, Are many skydiving pads. Its unusual for Epcot.
