MKT's 3/19/04 Trip Report

MKT's 3/19/04 Trip Report: The Return of Mission: Ladder!

yes.. a trip report. Why? Cause that's what I'm reporting on... my trip.

Where to? WDW... Why? Cause if it was somewhere else, I'd be posting it somewhere else.

And now for... the trip report

*lights dim... someone coughs*

(musically) dah dah dah dah dah dah......

ACT 1

Well, the day started off much like the others...

The alarm tried to wake me, but I said "Why Bother."

Around the hour of 12 noon

I awoke, and it felt like June.

I went into the other room and what did I see?

Photodave asleep in front of the TV.

"Wake up asshat!" I gently said

replies Dave, "I think I'll sleep instead."

10 minutes later Dave arose,

"Lets go to WDW" is the suggestion that he throws.

So here begins our journey, to a far away land,

A place we call Disney.. world, not land.

--------------------
ACT 2: The Journey

We packed our belonging for the 10 mile journey

To the world we were going, and not a tennis tourney

We hopped in the seats of Dave's Saturn

for a car named after a planet... it could sure be light years faster.

We we then blown off course by a Deutche Auto of sorts..

I screamed and hollered... and told him this isn't the Autobahn road course.

While the annoyance of speedy was surely obvious

we were quickly saved by a sign above us

"Welcome to the Walt Disney World Resort"

"HURRAH!!!" I retort

ACT 3: The arrival

Upon our arrival in this promised land

Dave and I decide we need to to eat AND

drink a beverage of sorts

So while in the Walt Disney World resort

Off to the british store we went

The one in the place

formerly known as the Disney Village Marketplace.

Lunch for 2 at the Earl of Sandwich

consisted of 2 Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sandwich... es.

And then back on track we were

to get to Epcot, over there.

In the Saturn we went

and more gas was spent.

Then in Epcot we arrive...

and are waved through the gates of entry.

Immediately we went, to wander around with merriment.

Until we saw the line size and we say.. NO.

We took photos galore, of test track and more.

The living seas was beatiful

not the same for the crane in front of Imagination.

Security around Soarin' was tight...

enough to prevent any photography of that area.

But we ran across an old friend while there..

THE MISSION SPACE LADDER!!!

When Rob gets bored he starts to write prose
From when he wakes up and onward he goes
But from the journey to Epcot past scenery so green
Other driver’s actions made him vent his spleen

Lots of things were making him ever more madder
Until he was placated by the Mission Space ladder
At which point he returned to a more relaxed fella
And headed to the pub for a cold pint of Stella

Eye thank you :D
