Hello All!

I have been reading your posts for a while and thought I would jump in! We are planning a trip in Novemeber for my birthday. DH and my 2 boys (8 and 3) like to eat in the park where we are. Any thoughts on TS in MK? We have only been to Liberty Tree..... The others seem like a waste of a table service. What do you think? Is the Plaza only sandwiches?

Thanks!

Have you considered some of the restaurants at the resorts on the MK monorail line?

I have and really wish I could but I am dragging them around other days of the week. I just feel like MK is really missing good dinner food. Maybe the Be Our Guest restaurant will be open by then but since we are going before Thanksgiving I am counting on it.

We like Liberty Tree when they had characters.

The Plaza is mostly sandwiches, plus the odd salad or burger, nothing special at all.

Can't really help with decent TS at MK, I don't know any!

I agree that MK is lacking with table service. I've eaten at all the TS restaurants there except The Plaza, but I booked there for my September trip and I'm paying out of pocket for that since the prices are not expensive at all for a sit-down.. I wanted to use the extra credit somewhere else. I am not a fan of Tonys but it's been years since I've been there so it may have changed. Liberty Tree Tavern is good but it's one of those places where I have to be in the mood for that kind of food. Crystal Palace is great though.

If you went to a monorail resort TS, they are so close to the MK and it's not really a hassle getting from one place to the other.. just a monorail ride and thats it.

Thanks everyone.... I had a feeling about the other TS meals at MK. I am trying to make a push for the GF to stay at but I can't get my husband out of the value resorts! The restaurants there look amazing!

I love my kids but being a foodie is so hard with little ones! It is so wrong but I want to do Disney without them one day! Shhhhh don't tell them:)!

You mentioned waste of a TS? I am assuming that you are on the Dining Plan? If yes, then use your TS for something more then the Plaza. I started a thread about the Plaza earlier this week. Crystal Palace is good. And Tony's is okay. So if you are on the dining plan, I would use the TS at Crystal Palace but if you are paying out of pocket, I would do Plaza. Hope that helps!

We really enjoy Crystal Palace. The chracters are great, and if you book the right time you can go right outside and get a good seat for viewing the Wishes fireworks show.
