Dear Disney Experts,

Do I have this right?

1. Celebrate a Dream Come True - Starts in Town Square, ends in Frontierland.
2. Move It, Shake It - Starts in Town Square, ends in Frontierland.
3. Spectromagic - Starts in Town Square, ends in Frontierland.
4. Boo To You - Starts in Frontierland, ends in Town Square.

We want to see Mickey's float during the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade stop. Where to we sit/stand?

We want to take videos and pictures of Boo To You. I know they turn on some spotlights here and there. Where are the best lit
areas?

Thanks!

The route is the same for each parade and will either set out from Town Square making its way to Frontierland or start at Frontierland and make its way to Town Square. This variation will most likely depend upon the time of day and where the previous parade ended.

When the parade initiates from Town Square it will make its way around Town Square then head down Main Street, travel around the central hub passing in front of Cinderella Castle, before crossing the bridge that leads to Liberty Square. After making its way through Liberty Square it will briefly pass through Frontierland, before disappearing through a large gate and into a staging area behind Splash Mountain.

Where is the best spot?
All along the parade route well before the parade starts guests can be seen standing, sitting and perched from every available piece of real estate that offers a view. The thought for the day here is first come first serve. If you don’t want to be standing 4 or 5 people deep wondering what all the cheering is about, then there is no other choice but to plant yourself somewhere before a family from Ohio does.

Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! starts and ends in Town Square. It makes it way to the Hub and all the floats circle the hub stop and do there show and head back down Main Street.

I thought #1 started in F'land.

I'm pretty sure spectro and celebrate start in frontierland too.

If it's a 2 show spectro night then the 2nd parade will run from town square to frontierland.

Celebrate goes from Town Square to Frontierland but there have been multiple times due to weather or such where it goes from Frontier to town Square.

I thought #1 started in F'land.

It was changed earlier this year. After a few test runs to observe crowd patterns, both the afternoon parade and Spectro now both run from Main Street to Fronteirland. Obviously there will occasionally be exceptions.

Apparently running the parade in this direction helps with crowd flow on Main Street and around the Hub immediately after the parade ends in those locations. The one problem is that it creates a bottleneck crowd situation in Fronteirland immediately after the parade ends, as parade-watching crowds headed to BTMRR and Splash run into crowds trying to get to those attractions from Adventureland, and trying to push past crowds *exiting* from BTMRR and Splash. But I guess management decided that the improvements everywhere else along the route was worth the new headache in Fronteirland. Plus, the congestion only lasts 5-10 minutes until things can work their way out and foot traffic flows freely again. If you're around there, either head elsewhere, or sit/stand to the side until it thins out.
