MK on Labor Day???

I am in the process of doing some trip planning for the week of Labor Day in Sept.
I am debating on whether or not to go to the MK on Labor Day or another park???
I have heard that Labor Day is fairly crowded, but the days after are more manageable.
What do you think?

I was in WDW for Labor day in 2007, so it has been a little while. The crowds were manageable. No issue with crowds at all. I don't remember where I was on the actual holiday, but I can look it up when I get home. (I save the spreadsheets from each trip)

We were in WDW for this past Labor Day weekend. The parks were d-e-a-d. There's no need for a touring plan as all rides were walk on; with Space Mountain maybe a 15 minute wait. I'm sure my good friend Master Yoda (who was with me and can corroborate my story) will be along soon to agree with me.... :D

I am not Master Yoda but I was there last year also and it was great! There was an afternoon shower in Magic Kingdom on Labor day but we just road Hunted Mansion over and over again until it let up. Then the park was really dead. There were some sprinkles still sticking around we put on our ponchos and walked on Dumbo at like 3pm. We then continued to walk on everything the rest of the day. Have a great trip.

I'm glad this question was asked b/c I was wondering not only about the crowds on Labor day but Labor Day weekend as well... We are there 8/31 thru the Tues after labor day. How do you thing crowds will be during that time?

Sounds like they may be pretty light...I have been trying to decide whether or not to go to the MK on Labor Day...I know that it can be crowded on holidays.

I have been to MK during Labor Day 4 or 5 times.

The Crowds on Labor Day are not bad compare to when I was at MK during the first week of December.

The Parks do have good crowds during Labor Day depending on the weather. The catch is the crowds get less crowed as it gets later in the day based on the trend I experienced down there in the past.

OMG I know were were there the 1st week of Dec this past year and I was shocked at how packed MK was on this 1st Monday in Dec. We practically accomplished NOTHING that day!
