MK Evening Parade?

Only a matter of time before MK closes at 5 and reopens at 6 for the 'Magical Evenings'

Now if they added a special firework show and lets say FoF to Magical Evenings it wouldn’t be so bad. Plus they would sell out almost every night putting extra bucks in WDWs hands.

Well, I hate that MSEP left again, but then, when it came back the last time it was supposed to be just for the summer and stayed several years. I do hope whey will have something for the 50th. Would prefer jazzed up, longer version of MSEP, but anything is better than nothing. (i am a HUGE "Baroque Hoedown" fan. Only problem with SpectroMagic was the Waltz that accompanied it.)

What's the problem with the Waltz? That's what made the parade unique to the other electrical parades.

Well if you all want to see what the FoF Maleficent dragon looks like at night, take a look at Disney Stars On Parade from Paris:



Also interesting they can still use their Main Street Christmas garland . Though I don’t think the Maleficent dragon was the issue for MK.

Granted it wouldn't be a unique evening parade but it seems they could do FOF in the evening also.

Agreed. One of the worst Disney World mistakes ever. Right up there with the Figment fiasco of '98.

It needed to go years ago, if they ever wanted to save some money somewhere it would be that, yet it treks on but we cant have a night parade.

Nothing to do with Disney but Universal Studios Japan is getting a new nighttime parade this year that will use projection mapping along the parade route along with floats! Sounds very interesting. With this, Paint The Night and Dreamlights... I hope whoever will be in charge of the future MK nighttime parade is taking notes!

There was a rumor of the main street electrical parade returning to WDW 3 months ago but that seems dead.

Disney IS Parades...3PM and Nighttime...at this point , despite all the complaining over the tiredness of MSEP, I WOULD TAKE EVEN THE TIRED PARADE!

I feel like magic Kingdom not having a night time parade allows them to close early in summer.

they said spectromagic was OBSOLETE. That is unacceptable!!! They are Disney for God's sake where all dreams come true, fantasy abounds and wishes are granted...nothing is obsolete! They would have taken Spectro out of the circuit of parades, but it could have been updated to LED's and put back in circulation! EACH PARK should have their own 2 parades, clone or not, that is for that park only and will always be there until they update. When they update a parade in a park, at least there is a parade still there. BUT it can't be like MK and not have a parade in construction! At least we would be happy if we KNEW their was a parade coming...it should be here before the 50th, but knowing is a good thing!

I agree it would be nice if they made a announcement of entertainment coming for the 50th. I’m sure they already have solid plans but are to afraid to commit lol.
