I am so glad I didn't get scheduled today. I'm sure people getting on the Jungle Cruise are not in a very good mood.

I too did not get scheduled in the Jungle today, which is surprising because I told them I could work today and seeing all the shifts available on the hub for a lot of AD/Lib attractions plus Riverwalk and PAC Im surprised...just goes to show what efficient schedulers we have!

Was at Epcot

We have been to Disney every Christmas/New Years since 1999 and this year was crazy. Big crowds everyday starting on Dec 22 and was still big on Jan 1
We were in Epcot on the 31st and test track had 240 min waits. Lines extended to the DVC counter next to Mouse Gears
Our only problem was getting into the bathrooms (my wife)
Energy was down part of the morning.
Many people went to the World Showcase at 5:00pm put blankets down along the railings and stayed there until 12:00
Had a great time.:hammer: and ready to go next Christmas

Yeah im sorry to whoever wrote that SGE only had a 5 minute wait, I was there for new years eve until 1 30 and it was 40 minutes every time I passed it (I went in and out of tomorrow land about 7x getting fastpasses, eating, etc).

I spoke to a CM and they told me that capacity is 78,000 and it's the first time they had to close the park this year, which was different then last year because they had to close on christmas last year and not on new years, but this christmas/new years it was vice versa.

It was INSANE, i feel REALLY badly for all the females in the park that day, I've NEVER seen lines that long at a bathroom (even at sporting events during halftime!).

Average wait time was about....
Space Mountain: 120-150 minutes
Big Thunder Railroad: 140 minutes
Splash Mountain: 120 minutes (before it closed down for the night)
Monsters Inc Laugh Floor: 40 minutes
Stitches Great Escape: 40 minutes
The Haunted Mansion: 50 minutes
Pirates of the Caribean: 80 minutes
Tommorowland Transit Authority: 5-10 minutes
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin:90-120 minutes
The Jungle Cruise: 100 minutes

Those were all of the rides I either passed or went on, but I gotta say when I actually waited in those lines it wasnt THAT long (but I got lucky a couple times with FP's and ride closures and reopenings)

It was more crouded then I've EVER seen it, they had to open up an area to the right of where you enter the park (where I've only seen 1ce before during the 'backstage magic tour') to let guests into other areas of the park, opening up a space behind tommorowland so guests could exit, I went to Ray's during a downtime and we had to grab a seat in the back, outside, by gulls just to eat, bathrooms looked disasterous and the lines for the females were HUGE, fastpass lines were sometimes 20-30 minutes long, imposible to get around the front of the castle before a parade or show because of people waiting around laying on the ground, going down by the water to wait for HM (ive NEVER seen this before and it was kinda cool, a LONG wait, but kinda cool), a mob infront of the monerails at 1 30 am so huge we walked 2 the Contempory to jump on the monerail, those were the highlights.

And im sorry to all that I didn't take pictures of those things, now that I think about that it was really stupid of me. However there is an area by SM that they are doing god knows what with that I took 3 pictures of from TTA that I can post up if people wanna see.

I would just like to say that New Year's was officially the craziest day I have EVER worked. Christmas Day had NOTHING on it.

And yes, the line for restrooms was awful, especially by Merchant/Star Traders. And Fastpass return was terrible at Buzz; sorry if I yelled at you, but you weren't forming a line :P Happy belated New Year! And Christmas... etc.

We were on the EPCOT monorail from TTC to EPCOT at 0920 on NYE - the line of cars at the TTC (Magic Kingdom) pay booths was huge at that time.

From what I was told, MK shut down at mid-morning on December 31st

New Years Eve in EPCOT - mid afternoon the stand-by line for SOARIN' was 280 minutes
