Haunted Mansion - Come back tomorrow.
Space Mountain - Come back next week.
Splash Mountain - Come back next spring.
Pirates - Come back next sequal.
Stitch - 5 minutes.

:p

That made me laugh out loud!!:ROFLOL:

I think I'll pass, even as much as I would love to see it this time of year.

Probably the same people who complained that they couldn't sit down to eat dinner at a TS because they didn't know that you had to make ADR's.

Because of this I'm not looking forward to my future trip. My stepdad is a spur of the moment type of guy and no matter how many times I tell him he refuses to think about ADR's. :brick: Along with this I have a BIL that doesn't see how you could possibly need more than one day at any park. :hammer: Can you tell how much fun I'm going to have? :ROFLOL:

God bless you! Maybe you should give them a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and pray that they read it. I am already thinking of our list for our next trip, and I have no idea when we are going back. :hammer:

We experienced Disney's version of gridlock on Main Street on the evening of 12/8 - You couldn't really move at the top of Main Street, and that wasn't during a "busy" time. We hated it. We'd love to experience the magic of WDW during the week of Christmas/New Years, but the crowds are what keeps us from doing it so far. Maybe when the kids are 6+ years old we'll try it, but not until at least then. :)

A question for those who know - When was the last time there was a Phase 4 closing? How many times has it happened (if you know)?

Well...let me tell you...it was nuts. I had never been so happy to go home from work. I normally love my job, but not last night. Luckily, everything is back up and crowds are moderate now. Such a relief.

Due to the expected large crowds on NYE an 4th of July they have started doing the Special Holiday fireworks show the 2 days prior as well. We have gone to see the 4th of July fireworks on the 3rd the last 2 years, park was busy but not like the holiday. They did the NYE Fireworks on the 29th and the 30th for the first time this year.

Thats a good way to do it, but as for the New Years show what else are you going to do that night except whatch the fireworks.

I was there NYE from 8 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. We do this every year and even though the park is packed, we love it. The waits aren't usually too bad early on and after midnight. We always have a Disney hangover on New Years Day though. I'll be back there next year for it again. :D
