Thank you all for all of the prayers and good thoughts....

Krystyna....how scary, SO glad you are okay! This brings up a thought for me.... does everyone in this thread have someone who knows your information here who would post here if anything happened ot you? It scares me to think about, but I hope you each do....

Young Joe, I am so sorry you are having such a hard time, is there anything I can do for you?

Michael LSU, drive safely and log on to let ys know you are home!

I have insomnia, every once in a while my sleeping meds don't work and I stay up all night.....caffeine doesn't seem to matter in terms of sleep for me... I do use it for my migraines though....Speaking of Caffeine, cute MJ story... Chai Latte's are my favorite and MJ has decided that she likes them too, she is my kid for sure!!!

Morning Mad, how's your hand?

Hiya Nibbs and Roxxy! I am so glad you are hanging around here more now! I missed you guys!!!!

Diddy_Mouse! Welcome to the thread!!! We love to have people join us here... don't worry about keeping up, I often mis a day or two here or there, just come hang out whenever you have time!

Nibbs, so sorry about your friend's doggie :(

UK Joe....I am not sure that my computer can support the Video camera... I may have to go have them put on a CD at another sotre (can you even do that) and then I can transfer it to my PC....My digital connects to my computer, but the Video recorder doesn't seem to....

OK, since you asked, Bonny, I'll give you what we know so far about the trip:

Thursday (5/18) - We arrive at MCO at 10:45 pm, so we'll be at PC around 11:30.Probably won't get to our rooms 'til around midnight, but we still plan to catch a quick dip in the pool before bedtime.

Friday - taking busses to POR for breakast at Boatwrights, then probably off to AK for Everest (the kids haven't decided for sure about this yet. We did it twice in February, and given our time limits, they might choose to skip it this time. Sometime in that day we'll be in MK (we have lunch reservations at LTT for 2:45). We'll stay there for Wishes that night.

Saturday - Breakfast at PC, Segway tour at 9:30, then lunch at LeCellier. DH and DD stay in Epcot all day to "drink around the world" , while DS and I go to MGM for SWW. He and I make a quick trip at some point to DDT to House of Blues, then meet back with DH and DD for Illuminations.

Sunday - breakfast, swimming, then airport for flight home :(

Really though, I'm feeling a little better... So, I don't know if I explained this part of my internship dilemma. My father is President of the company (I know what you're thinking, have him get me a job)... well my dad didn't have it easy at all growing up, and he worked unbelievably hard to get where he is... in high school he gave me a job at his company doing labor work and such, and then helped me my first summer out of college. Last summer though, he told me I had to do things on my own. He said he'd love to have me work at his company, but he wasn't going to have anything to do about it, so I might with the head of finance, got interviewed, and she hired me. Obviously, I probably got the job because of who I was, but he stays out of my business... Anyways, when I didn't get this job for the summer, the CFO called me dad and told him she thinks the new guy should have work for me, and maybe doesn't realize how much experience I have there... so my Dad contacted me, helped me write up a professional email to this guy trying to sell myself... He said its not definite, but its worth a shot! So... if he bites, I will in fact have my internship back! I'll let you all know how that goes!

About the final, still haven't heard back from the professor, I emailed him, awaiting his word, hopefully I can do something to not get an F in the class... again, my lowest grade in high school or college has been a C+ so I'm really nervous... either way, it'll workout for the best...

Also, my sister knows a manager at one of the Outback's nearby, so I think I'll be getting an interview there incase I don't get my internship back... she can't guarantee me anything there, just an interview which is a start!

Hope everyone else is having a good day! I'll be in and out, got that final tonight at 6:30... I'm exhausted though, I've come down from my 5 coffee, 2 energy drink high...

I'm back.....

There is narrowing of my vertebral spaces which is pinching my nerves...yeah, we knew that...not much they can do about it. They upped my pain meds and said when it gets super bad I can have epidural steroid injections....Those are only a short term solution so I will only do it when the pain is super bad.

He changed my pain meds from Vicodin to Vicoprofen (easier on my liver) since I will be on it forever....

He also upped my sleeping meds... they are supposed to have the side effect of helping with my migraines once I get to a high enough dosage on them...

Tomorrow is 'Nita's surgery (MJ's godmother), I have appts with a psychologist and a psychiatrist and then Friday my cardiologist....sigh....

I need to make Mac and Cheese today, work on a scrapbook, update MJ's blog, work on her website... (so not motivated and MJ is being a pill!!!)

MJ's godfather was here when I got home, he bought me a Mother's Day present....

a DVD of Tarzan Rocks! It has a show from 1999 and 2004 and 2 photo albums on it... my beloved show....

I have the final two shows on my video camera and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get them from my video cmaera onto my computer so I can make VCD's :(

Awww... What a neat gift! I know how much that show meant to you guys.

Oh, and speaking of cameras, I've got a good 15 minutes of video of the Treehouse to send to you as soon as I can figure out how to upload it, digitize it, and burn it.

Hey Bonny! Hand is 100% and just about all the stiffness is gone. :sohappy:

Just read your report... have you ever thought about a pain management clinic? They are quite popular her in NY, not sure about where you are. I've know some people who were able to get relief. My brother had the stenosis thing going on. I know he had surgery (think it was the same as Joe mentioned) and he has had relief. He is quite a bit older than you though, don't know if that make a difference.

Hope your new regime helps.

Morning all.

I nearly got into a potentially serious car accident this morning. I pulled out of my development to come to work, and a red mini-van ran the red light and can within a foot or two of T-boning my car. We both swerved out of the way, and luckily I'm not hurt, but if I hadn't reacted in time, I might not be here right now. Nothing like starting off the day seeing a large vehicle come barreling directly for you.
:fork:

No way! You and I have some serious karma stuff girly - I just had a weird car experience today too!

I pulled into Ruby Tuesdays to meet my mom and sister (who were inside sitting at a table), parked my car when all the sudden this little white Nissan comes squealing into the parking lot and parks right in front of my car... I had my driver's door open - and out of this Nissan hops a man (who didn't speak english - I won't mention nationalities for fear of sounding racist - but let's just say i was worried right off the bat) the man runs up to my door opens it all the way and shoves a cell phone in my face while yelling at me in some other language. I started freaking out b/c he just kept shoving the phone in my face and I couldn't back away - I couldn't do anything in fact b/c my car was blocked in and he had climbed almost in my lap at this point - still shoving the phone in my face... I can hear someone on the cell phone yelling in another language too (side note: at this point my mom and sister look out the window and see what's happening - they both freak out, grab the manager and come running out of the restaurant - for the record - my tiny sister was yelling and threatening this dude like crazy - mom ran straight to the other side of the car and grabbed elizabeth) the manager grabbed the man who then began throwing the cell phone at the manager who grabbed it with one hand and held the man out at arms length - the manager put the phone up to his ear and yelled "who is this and what do you want?" - they guy on the phone started speaking english and said that the man was trying to get directions to a car dealership down the road... the manager called the cops and said yeah right... people who are asking for directions don't climb in other peoples cars screaming at them...

It took me about 10 min for my heart to calm down... maybe that all sounds really stupid - but it really scared the daylights out of me, I mean - who the heck just goes after someone like that?

anyway- that was my drama for the day... I think i'm staying home tomorrow... :(

I guess it'll be a while before you head to a Ruby Tuesday again :lookaroun
