Nah, it makes sense... our ancestors supposedly (though I agree with the theory) migrated across the land bridge between Alaska and Asia, following the herds. That seems like a likely place for infected birds to cross the shortest distance, as well.

So, on a happier note, I just got back from the DMV where I had to renew my licence, and my photo almost looks like me.
