I've actually had to poke people to wake them up because they were snoring. People do fall asleep in church. I really enjoy interpreting for church. There are actually 3 of us that interpret. Usually we do different parts of the service. But if one or both are absent then it falls on whoever is there. Few months ago none of us were there and one of the ASL students stepped up and did his best.

I remember when I was a teenager my dad came home from an overseas business trip early on a Sunday morning. After flying all night his suit was badly rumpled and he was exhausted, but he insisted on going to Sunday Mass with me. He kept falling asleep and snoring loudly! I had to keep poking him. :lol: It's funny now, but at the time I was so embarassed!
