In total, though, I think I danced with about 30. (For some reason, girls I didn't even know did the... ah... for lack of a better term, "bump 'n grind" with me. :lookaroun)

The biggest disappointment of the night was when they didn't play YMCA. A few of the guys (myself included) were ready to freestyle up on stage. Ah, well...

I am impressed, Mr. Smith!

:lookaroun

How many toes did you step on?

A few, but only because my friend was being stupid, so I did it in jest. :D

(At least half the girls there went barefoot, becuase their $300, one-night-only shoes were killing them. )

P.S. The dance was themed to "Night at the Roxbury". :D

Have you no Payless stores up there?!

Good thing we weren't chaperoning!

Hey! Not my fault!

I didn't make a pass at anyone, I just succumbed.

And the actual fast dancing was hilarious with my friends. If any of you have seen "Madagascar", the song "Move It" was playing. :drevil: :D

We do. That's where I got mine.

(And at least I actually wear them MORE THAN ONCE. )

I assume you were kidding about the $300 shoes!
If not, why would they even tell you how much they cost?
Are you supposed to be impressed that they spent that much on shoes that were too uncomfortable to wear?

Sounds like the fast dancing was a lot of fun!
And a lot safer!
Be careful in the future Danny!
There I go, being a mom!
Can't help it!

Nah. The ones that I danced with that went barefoot about halfway through, were the only ones I asked. Of course, one of them that I know a lot more than the rest of them paid $15 for hers ("Good job!"), and they looked gorgeous. Some of the others looked like fashion victims.
