It was in our town - just a few miles from here. The park has been closed for a long time now and has been caught up in all kinds of legal red-tape. It's beautiful waterfront property, so of course the developers are trying to put condos there. The neighbors don't particularly like having it all overgrown and abandoned like it is, and it's become a big hangout for teens adn druggies. Anyway, the city ordered the owners to raze all the existing buildings there today to avoid this happening again.
