no...we basically sent them an offer...which we know will probably be sent back b/c they just reduced the price 5,000...to 114,900, and we offered them 102,000. But we are definitely trying for it.

My lawyer wants to give it 2 months so that we can make sure he's following suit, paying on time etc. I'm anxious to get it all overwith, but I'm trusting him. He's a good man and hasn't let me down yet... so I'm trying to just follow him in this. After all he does this all day long... :lol:

Sounds like you've really got it together Jess. It's good that you can keep your head straight through it all. Your family must be pretty relieved too!

Our house is tiny - basically 4 rooms downstairs, and 1 large (unheated) room upstairs, 1 bathroom, unfinished basement, no garage on a 50' by 100' lot. The houses in this neighborhood are selling in the $210,000 range.

LOL yes... my family is quite relieved. We celebrated by meeting for lunch and you'd have thought we either won the lottery or hadn't seen each other in 3 years for all the hugging and smiling and laughing we did. :) It was definately a good day.

ouch!!

How many sq. ft is the houses? We have a very small house. It is about 800 sq. ft. 2 bedroom 1 bath.

Wow! That's an amazing price!
For what you described, I would say you wouldn't pay less than 300,000 here!

Don't know the square footage, but it's pretty small. I guess officially it's a 2 bedroom, but DD has the upstairs room as her bedroom. The price of houses is absolutely insane around here!
