Most of my family is in the Altoona/State College PA area but my cousin (who is more like a sister to me) is from near Annapolis Maryland.

I crave my sweaters and fleeces... *sigh* i really need to move north again... LOL
LOL I like my flannel one's too... but my jersey satin one's are the best.... sooooooo soft. Flannel in the south is a bit crazy though... I have to turn the AC on in the middle of the winter if I break out the flannel sheet's... otherwise it's just too hot in here. LOL

And yes... If i don't talk to you again before you leave bunny... Have an amazing trip and be sure to take a gazillion pics!!!!
ok... so bit of a side note:
Lizzy and I have Viral Conjunctivitus. AKA Pink eye with a cold.
I hate daycare.
Oh and getting drops in a toddler's eyes? hmmm yeah, good times.
And better than that? getting her to sit still through an eye exam. *bangs head* Soooo fun.
Soooo anywho... just needed to vent. They say it should go away in about 2 days... just long enough to knock out my weekend. *grrrr*
Oh, and I have to wear glasses for a week. Fun times fun times.

My husband is an ophthalmology resident and he loves pediatric days!!! All of the other residents try to send all the kids to him.
One of his cousins had pink eye when he was little. Unfortunetly I had to babysit the little guy and he would not come near me for several months after I had to put the drops in
But we are best buddies now.Sounds like you are having a fun Friday the 13th. Even if I just think it is another day, I like to blame all the bad stuff on it.:lookaroun :lol:
Fannel sheets here are next to being crazy. I have always wanted to try then though.
My DH called awhile ago and he told me that Sarah Evans on Dancing with the Stars is quitting the show this coming Tues.. Something about a divorce. He heard it on the radio this morning.
She is going to come on the show and report vot going on.Hi Jess!

awwww... yeah there's no explaining to a toddler that you're doing this for their own good. They think you're just being mean... the look she gives me when i break out medicine is awful... makes me feel so bad.
but i know it's for her own good. lol
I was just floored when i woke up this morning and had another head cold and my eye was all sore and red... We were supposed to go pick pumpkins today with Anna & Philip... but i didn't want to spread our germies so I cancelled... *poo*

That's sad about Sarah... i couldn't imagine being in the public eye and going through a divorce... yuck.

I've never tried baked pumpkin seeds...but last night I was craving pumpkin pie or pumpkin roll. I was going to make one of them to take home with us this weekend but then I decided to attempt to make a chocolate chip cheese ball....it says it tastes like cheese cake so I figured I would give it a try.

I hope it tastes good and survives the 4 hour trip home....probably not the best choice but I'll make it work
Pumpkin Roll is my specialty.
I make 3 every year for Thanksgiving. 1 for the boys while we're making the big dinner. 1 for dessert. and 1 for dinner that night. LOL It's always a big hit... what's not to love about cream cheese and pumpkin bread? 
The chocolate chip cheese ball sounds really yummy... I might have to borrow that recipe from you.
LOL And I love how confident in yourself you are. *jealous* haha... Good for you girly. You do always have the right sigy. They always speak to me.
(and pumpkin seed's with a bit of cinnamon on top, baked for about 10 min? OMG... yuuuumy)

All this pumpkin talk is really making me look forward to Thanksgiving.The recipe doesn't look to hard but I'll let you know this evening how things turn out.
