Not exactly what I would have picked for my first post in the new thread. . .
But, green is not good. Sounds like a sinus infection.
Sorry Nibblies!

It was my second post, thank you!

And I figured I'd get this thread out to a gross start!

But that's what I was afraid of.

Usually means a cold or worse.

Again...what I was afraid of.

You crack me up, Nibbles.

Well...glad someone found some humor in that.

A boy is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Roosevelt Boulevard Tuesday morning.

Police said a 7-year-old boy and a 68-year-old woman were critically injured when they were hit in the southbound inner lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard at Lott Street around 8:30 a.m.

The two were both rushed to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital, and the boy was ounced* dead.
Police have not released their names.

Life is fragile.

*And NBC didn't proofread.

Extremely sad story.
And an unfortunate typo. They should be more careful.
Roosevelt Boulevard is nuts. It's hardly safe crossing an intersection in a car, let alone trying to walk across, even at the stop lights. I can't believe the number of people you always see trying to cut across the middle of the road.

It is sad... but I wouldn't put the blame on them.
It was a hit and run, at a red light.
And a kid is dead.
The grandmother is expected to, also.
Worst brain injury they've seen at that hospital.
But the kid...
He was only 7...

Oh no, I know they were not at fault. I was just speaking of the Boulevard in general.
Only 7. . .
And that poor little innocent shot while sitting in her mother's car yesterday.
Only 5. . .
