Hey to anyone who's around. And Happy Mother's Day to all our mommy's...and of course our mommy to be! Big hugs to all of you and thanks for all the love and support you've shown!

Bittersweet Mother's Day in this neck of the woods. Got an absolutely hysterical card from Em that she made at pre-school. It was a fill-in-the-blanks, and one line said "my mom is the best __________ in the world". She put "cleaner"!!!! My family was in stitches...I am such a bad housekeeper! But that's my kid, trying to build my self-esteem. I know God loves me a lot, because he gave me Em.
But on a sad note, Grant and I went to see MIL in the hospital. I don't think she's coming out...she just looks soooo bad and it's been three months in the hospital now. She's on a ventilator and her eyes just look so sad. Bottom line is, you can tell by just looking in her eyes that she wants out. She's tired of living this way and you can see it...she can't even talk because of the tube. Literally, up until today I was one of those "don't pull the plug" people but seeing her this way has made me seriously rethink things.
Whew...sorry, just had to get that out.

About two months ago I was in the pet shop with Glory and the lady recommended "bully sticks" as a good chew treat, as opposed to pigs ears and rawhide. So I bought one and the pup LOVES them. I've been buying them ever since (and they're kinda pricey). Well last night we had company, and I was rambling on about the dog (you'd think I gave birth to her, the way I go on) and I mentioned how much she loves her bully sticks. To which I was informed that bully sticks are:

Naturally, the first thing I did was run to the all mighty internet to verify this and it is indeed true.
OMG....I sort of never want to buy them again. But, the wee pup does love them....

After the intial shock... I say whatever. LOL If the pup likes them, it's not like the bulls are giving up... that... just for dog treats. I suppose all the parts of an animal should go to good use... and why not a dog treat? :lol: Still funny though.
