aw! Her shower is on my wedding anniversary! Yay!!!
I'm doing good. Just eating lunch now. Missing my friend and she hasn't even really left town yet...don't know how I'll survive a year...but we'll write lots of letters and we'll be alright. Just stinks...but she's doing something for herself...so it's all good.
What are you trying to get done for summer?
Jenny...i was just catching up from yesterday, so if you see this...I've never really eaten at any counter service restaurants not inside the parks...but inside the parks I really enjoy Columbia Harbor...best clam chowder...Epcot doesn't really have one that I'm in love with...but Electric Umbrella is probably the best choice, AK...I've heard Tusker House...never eaten there but hear it's great...and my choice at MGM is Pizza Planet...and I think your kids will like it too.
You mentioned Contemporary...I know they are re-doing stuff there...so I don't know if that interferes with what you wanted to do.
Edit: Just read your post about Tusker House...so nevermind. :lol:

Well I posted all about it yesterday, and I don't want to bore you all to pieces with wedding details, but. . .
I'm doing all the computer work for the wedding. I'm making Lauren's Bride's Book, the wedding and shower invitations, the wedding program and I'm designing Tshirts for the bride and groom.

Gotcha...I just read all about it. You've got a lot on your plate. When is most of it supposed to be done? Before the wedding or by the wedding shower?

I'm gonna get it done way before both, so I can still enjoy the summer.
The bride's book is almost finished. I just need to take some more pics this weekend. The layouts are finished. I just need to plop the pics in.
The Tshirt designs are finished.
I'll start the invitations next.
Then the program.
One nice thing, I can take my laptop down to the pool and work in Photoshop there. That will be great!

that is great...sounds like you have a real plan going. And I don't think that the program is going to be to difficult to do...the invitations shouldn't be too bad either.

Right. They're almost all text, so no big deal there.
The book is the biggest part of it all, by far.
And that's almost done.
I love what I've done with it! It's turning out better than I ever expected!
well...see...it's kind of difficult...
But it turns out my brother is gay. And my mom is not reacting to this news very well. She's suspected it since he was a kid...but it's still not helping her. And I want to be able to help her...but I just don't know how to do it. I'm more or less ok with it. I mean it sucks not ever getting to have a sister in law...but I just want my brother to be happy in his life. So I'm really doing ok with the whole thing...but my mom is defintely not...matter of fact, she made a very inappropriate comment the other day about the fact that the Chippendale dancers are coming to town and my dad jokingly asked if she wanted to go...she said no...but under her breath she said something about maybe my dad could take my brother. My brother heard her and got really upset...and i would have too...that was totally out of line for her to say.
I just really don't know what to do. I told her she should go see a therapist...but she doesn't really want to do that...she went for a few sessions a while back, but hasn't really ever gone back. I still think she needs to deal with some issues with it though. I just don't know.
I'm so excited about the book. Will we get to see it? I want to scrapbook my last Disney trip using photoshop. I think it's going to be 100 times easier.
