I don't know if you heard about my scheduling issues. But I've been playing phone tag for about an hour now trying to get it sorted out. First I find out I may be responsible for the days next week, because they have already been posted. Now I have also find out that there is a chance I could lose my seasonal status because I am being trained for a new role. That can't happen!

Yes, they are the ribbed tanks from Old Navy...I have almost every color too...and then mix and match so that they are then layered. They are so perfect for the summer. So you aren't the only one.

The way it sounded, I can't be a character attendant while I am doing custodial. I don't want to lose my status as character attendant! That's my whole reason for wanting to work in Disney!

Any ideas for mother day gifts. I thought of getting mom a gift certificate for a maid service to come in and clean her place. Any other thoughts?

My mom is almost as big of a Disney nut as me...I got her the Precious Moment w/ the Mickey Mouse Club shirt...and a couple other little things.

Though, I do like to get things that they like, flowers for the garden, new blouse, knick knacks, a lot of times we collect way too much stuff. As is my mothers case, I am trying to get her to get rid of stuff (she's a pack rat) but she says she feels guilty getting rid of something someone gave her. My feelings are I appreciate every gift I get, but if I have no use for the gift anymore and someone else can use it (not regift but good will or rummage sale) then it's a gift that keeps on giving.

Ideas for other mothers day gifts - time at the spa, hair dresser, wine tasting day. I had a carpet cleaning company come in for George's parents to do their rugs for x-mas. I try to do things that are never thought of or things that they want done but have little time to do.

And also agree with you on getting rid of gifts. Sometimes it's hard, but if you just don't see yourself using it...it's time for someone else to use it.

Family always asks us what we want for x-mas, birthdays, holidays, etc. and George and I really lack nothing that we can't live without. From time to time we would like something, but usually we tell them we don't need anything. So we started asking for gift certificates to various business they we use. Because of this we get a majority of our flowers and trees for our yard with them, we have a few gift cards saved up to replace the front door and get a new floor for the kitchen. It is really nice to know that our family contributes to our household and when it is done and they see what's new they feel very much part of our house.
