MGM is my least favorite also - we'll probably be done there by 2 when we go. I was just thinking that even if you need to find a bench and rest a little more for your mom's sake, people watching can be just as fun. At MK, there's the railroad if you need it, or the trolley. The only parks you might want to watch are AK and Epcot for walking distances. But since you have a 7 day hopper you should be able to see everything!
Maybe I'll buy a pair of crocs this summer and see how they work. I don't want to repeat blisters at WDW this fall....:(
Thanks for your advice. Mom says she ok with walking - its the standing still that hurts her knees.

Let me know if you get them and like them!

I found a pair of SUPER comfy flip flops.

it's like walking on spongy egg crates (...that's what they're called, right?...)

We're at Pop Century this time - we opted for 3 nights there instead of 2 nights at POR.
Pop is a great resort! Good thinking!

It's cute, but very possible to lose your kids in it. That happened with Abby, I probably wondered around for 10 minutes trying to find her in there. At least there's a CM at the exit, so the kids don't try to leave without you.
Abby wants to do ToT, but we aren't doing BatB this time. The costumes are great, but because they have to squeeze the story in 25 minutes, the songs are sung too fast for our taste. But the Muppets :sohappy: :sohappy:- will be doing that at least twice!!

We always hit it a few times too.. it's a personal favorite. Statler and Waldorf especially...

Oh, and the announcement Sam the Eagle makes to get you to move to the end of the row..:ROFLOL:

And the preshow :ROFLOL: :ROFLOL:

I'm back!
Just got off the phone with DD - she has a second interview with the school that she really liked, so she's on Cloud 9! :sohappy:

Oh! And we also do Star Tours. My brother (who is going with us - that's a story in itself) is a HUGE Star Wars fan.

I love that smiley!

:lookaroun

Star Tours isn't bad... but I like Muppets better. :lookaroun

I really can't stand to have anything between my toes - just thinking about it gives me the willeys!

Never thought about that  .

Random thought: has anyone just looked at their feet and thought about how weird they look? :lookaroun My feet look exactly like my mom's and I noticed how a couple of my toes are crooked.

I have a crooked toe too. But it's from when I broke it. :brick:
