MJ's Mayflowers

Bonny said that MJ recognized you or knew who you were Dot. That kind of amazed me.

It really is amazing.
When I first met up with them, MJ was in her chair and I stooped down to her level and she just stared at me so intently. I really felt like I was falling into those eyes. I've never had an experience quite like it. Then she signed something to her Mom and Bonny said, "Yes, she will be going with us today". To which M smiled and gave this affirmative nod that I soon found she uses often and which I just adored. It seemed to say so much. I was hers from that point on and I loved it!
She speaks in mostly one word sentences, but is very good at getting her point across. She misses nothing. She's like a sponge just soaking up everything and everyone around her.
I took her picture with my camera and I showed it to her and she laughed. Then she took the camera from me and took my picture! Several times!
Then we laughed at those.
She's smart! She can identify the birds on the jungle trails and point them out on the charts that are provided. She knows colors and loves making animal sounds.
That's a little taste of MJ. . .everyone should have one.
You'll love it!

Did you get your camera back? :lookaroun We made the mistake of whipping out the video camera a few times... She claimed it as her very own! So cute! :D

She let me keep it.
She did have her own and is quite good at using it.
And she points out things that she would like Bonny to photograph.

Well, I am off to finish my beef stew for dinner. Smells really good.

Dot - I am glad you had a great time.

Betty - I am sure things will work out for you. The old - one door closes another door opens is so true.

Kat - . But seriously.

Talk to you all later.

Thank you, Dan.
And I forgot to tell you that I'm glad George's surgery went well.
Hang in there, Sweets!

Bye Dan!

Dot - did you meet any other forum members this trip (besides Luke and his eyes)?

No.
Jess and I never did touch base and Rick and I played cat-and-mouse around the World Showcase. Too bad.
So after MJ and Company it was just Luke and those eyes.
We did have a nice time, though.

Here he is, eyes and all, up on his high horse. . .
