Thanks Jess!!! You're sweet.

We were thrilled with the costume...and the theme of course, being Disney fanatics. I give a lot of credit to Em's teacher. She knows how much the girls are into the whole Princess thing and she picked a great song and costume for our girls. I think she had a lot of influence on the theme of the whole show, thank goodness. You should have seen some of the other costumes...one that stands out in my mind was a class of 8 - 10 yr. olds. I have no idea what their song was but their outfits...mettallic yellow/greenish "hot pants" and tanks with bright yellow mesh overlays. These costumes would not have been flattering on Twiggy (if you have any idea who that is) let alone a group of little girls still with their baby pudge...if I was one of their parents I would have been pi--ed.

It seems like a lot of the jazz classes at our dance center wear things like that. Last year one class had black pants and a silver sequin top with a silver kerchief on their head (going for the glam Russian peasant look  ) and silver armbands :hurl: Abby's dress for tap was pushing it - showed too much of her back. I'm very cautious when it comes to how she dresses.

And is that our wee Joel? I only did a half catch up (last time I was on was Sunday morning) so I didn't see that pic.

Edit: I didn't see the caption...it is our Joel! How sweet is he?

Thanks sweetie! It seems like we always post at different times, so I will say a belated 'hi' to you too.

Good morning everyone! I'm working at the school this morning, so I'll be back later. Have a good one!

I was the same way with DD - there's no need of some of the "fashions" out there!

Thanks Joanna love..:)

Sorry you had a not so great day..Im glad it worked out though love..:)

Im off to bed...talk to you all soon..:)

Oh..to all who watch The Bachelor..

I am sooo mad at Andy..He picked Tessa..who I wanted him to pick..but he told Bevin he loved her when she said she loved him..and then he told Tessa he loved her ..when she said she loved him..then he showed Bevin the watch she gave him and that he was wearing it..then told her he loved her..and then told her he picked Tessa...OH MY GOD!!

You do not tell two girls you love them..That was so not fair...

It was gonna be hard enough as it was to let her know he was choosing someone else..but he gave her hopes by saying he loved her...UGH!..I was so mad at him..

Ok..Im done..:)

I watched. It was tough for him and the girls. I am very glad he choose Tessa.

Ok.... So I think he really loved Bevin! Yes, I'm a guy that watched the show. I didn't realize that he showed her the watch. That was not too smart. As a guy, it was fun to watch Andy each week and go wow... but I didn't feel that so much this week. What a tough situation to be in for the three of them. I could just imagine Bevin watching tonight... sick to her stomach.

I am glad he chose Tessa!

Me too.

Good morning!

OMG. . .I'm in Lizzy's scrapbook! :dazzle:
Great job, Jess! It will be a wonderful keepsake!

Amy. . .Em's a doll!
Thanks for sharing the pic!

Susan. . . Great job on IMom duty last night!
Very firm!
Not that anyone listened to you . . .
But, still, great job!

Thank you I kinda felt bad when everyone left.:lookaroun

Good morning. I am taking my DH to the doc this morning. We find out what is going on in his knee and if he needs surgery. I won't be here until late this afternoon. He is going to take me for lunch and then I have to go to the school for my DD's 3rd grade awards ceremony.

Sounds like a busy day Susan - we have DS' final orchestra concert tonight and National Honor Society tomorrow night.

Did everybody watch Dancin' last night?

I certainly did!
And it was fabulous!
I'm torn between Apolo and Joey.
Apolo's freestyle was awesome, but Joey's was even more so!
I think I'd be happy to see either of them win.
Laila's freestyle just wasn't exciting enough.

I loved Apolo's - he's just sooooo cute! But Joey's was great too - Laila, not so much....

It seems like the judges take turns each week finding fault with someone, don't you think?
