Yeah, I think I will too. After all I'm only a ferry ride away from WL - I'd like to see Spectromagic and Wishes, if they have it.

Not to worry about the kids geting lost during that time would be great.:sohappy: and then linger till one of the last to leave the park so you could take some awesome pictures.:sohappy:

Yay!
Say hi for me!

I'm back for a bit.

Hi Jen!
I was reading before about your possible plans for an evening on your own in WDW. George and I often go in separate directions and I really love it. I'm not afraid to travel anywhere on property by bus and I go wherever I like. I love spending time in the parks on my own, even though I don't do the attractions by myself. Probably just me, but I don't really enjoy them that way. Instead, I use the time to take pictures. . .lots of pictures, or maybe do some browsing in the shops. And, when I feel like it, I grab a snack, make myself comfy and people-watch to my heart's content. Love it!

That's what I'm planning to do, Monday night of our trip. I'll wander through the Emporium, take lots of pics, grab a spot for the parade and fireworks and head back. I'm like you in that I probably won't ride anything. It's not as much fun when you're by yourself. And I tell myself it's good for me to be a little more independent. I get too comfortable with my rut. Not unlike my son, who hates any type of change.

On our last trip, George and I were in MGM and he had a Fastpass for RnRC. We decided that I would wait in line for ToT (the wait was 20 minutes) and he would find me in the line when he was through. Well, the line moved quicker than we thought it would and I wound up inside the hotel before George got off his ride. I decided to just go ahead and ride without him. It was the first time I ever did that, and I must say it felt a little weird, but I enjoyed it anyway. When we finally met up, George was shocked to find I'd ridden it on my own. He didn't think I'd ever do it! Neither did I!
But really, I feel completely home on WDW property. I'll go just about anywhere. Since you want to go to the MK, you might consider riding on the RR on your own as well as the TTA. Both would be relaxing and enjoyable. I, personally, love sitting on top of the train station looking down on Town Square and straight down Main Street to the Castle. I could sit there for hours!
