May I just say that I really really really love you guys? I was incredibly touched by Dana's kind gesture...
It's been a rough couple of days here, what with my grandfather's heart attack, and my busted pipe, and I really appreciate all of you guys. Your love and support is truly amazing, and is such an uplifting force in my life. I cannot imagine how worse off I would be right now if I hadn't decided to start posting in Chit Chat a year or so ago... and now look at our little community...
THIS is what neighborhoods were supposed to be like. It's such a wonderful feeling to know that the spirit of community lives on, and even though we may be seperated by miles, states, and even a country, we are all linked inexorably...
It made me break down and cry this morning when I checked my voice mail and my PM from Dana. You are such wonderful people and I am blessed to have you all in my life...

Oh my goodness! Yes, Derek LOVED pin trading - partially b/c it was an excuse to talk to CMs and partially b/c it was like a competition - how many CM pins could he find. :lol: I had never traded pins before really - I just bought ones that I liked. Derek bought about three that he liked and then just bought random $6.95 ones that he would be ok trading with. He ended up with 1.75 sets of hidden Mickey CM pins. It's hilarious. He can't wait to go back just for that! George will love it!
