I do want to take a trip in July so I can meet my nephew. I'll have to see if I can arrange for it to be that weekend. If not....I'll be here!
Pish Posh for the scolding. The glucose really isn't that awful bun... just drink lots of fluids and you'll be ok. I didn't have the nasty orange one like they used to serve so long ago - mine was fruit punch and basically just tasted like a shot of sugar in normal fruit punch. It's only 8 oz and they gave me a straw... so i really didn't even taste that much of it. Other than feeling a little shakey for awhile, it's not so bad.(again... drink fluids! I was more than shakey but that was b/c the dumb nurse told me not to eat OR drink for 12 hours before... and I was dehydrated... you'll be just fine.

Well... I had a great suprise today. I went to pick up a pair of shorts with my birthday giftcard from Dana... and when they checked me out - turns out they had sent me the wrong card... it was actually double what Dana got for me! So not only did I have that incredible gift from her... I had double from Gap! :lol:
I checked and double checked and the girl just told me to go enjoy it there's nothing she could do! (I really didn't press hard after she told me that. :lol
So my mom and sister helped me find another pair of shorts... all in all with my birthday money (and giftcards) I got 2 pairs of shorts, a jacket and 3 shirts - and I still have $30 left in giftcards! :sohappy: Can't beat that! LOL
I did some shopping at the Gap today too....now that I think about it I wanted to go back and buy some things and I forgot. I guess I'll just have to go tomorrow!

I was taught that you should always start with the one hour test. If you pass that then are you set....if your sugar level doesn't go down enough then you have to do the three hour test.

I'm kinda registered at Target, Walmart and BabiesRUs...but I really do need to go back and "really" register. Most of what I registered for was just a list of things that I wanted to keep track of... I wasn't planning on registering at all this time around. Practically NOBODY used my wedding registry, and I wasn't expecting anything for the kiddo...
Well, it's a townhouse, so it's not huge... but I fit 12 people here for Thanksgiving last year, so it should be fine... as long as nobody expects a turkey dinner! :lookaroun

It's been a busy busy day. George and I spent most of the day doing yard work.
I'm ok with no turkey... as long as there's ice cream! :sohappy: (But we all know you have a huge freezer. :lol
Ok guys... Dancing w/the stars is on at 9 and I'm going to dish out a couple of double scoop caramel pretzel (bunny go get some!) ice cream cones for jay and I before the show starts...
