Jess, as I hear from people, I am going to ask them to let you know what gift they get, so you can keep a list to avoid doubles.

Also. . .is it alright to give out Bunny's last name to MJers? They want to check the registries.

Not if that's the way you're used to doing things.
With me, I present it as a plan and see what he thinks.
No reason for him not to go along with things, so he doesn't, and so I don't mind when he goes his own way.
It's a give and take.

See that's the problem for us... Jay hates doing anything by himself. As far as he's concerned one of the biggest perks to marraige is never doing anything alone. Which has often been a source of conflict for us... I love having "away" time... he just never get's sick of me I guess. :lookaroun :lol: (JOKE)

But, if I just talk to him about it... he's usually ok.

Hi guys! I'm back from an afternoon of shopping. I got 2 shirts for me....and 0 gifts for Jay:lookaroun

Hmmmm....just checked Pittsburgh airport website, and Southwest is offering flights to Baltimore $39 one way :lookaroun .

Well, why drive over 6 hours, when I can fly part of the way? It takes me around two hours to get to Pittsburgh, and the flight is only an hour.

Now I have to convince DH I'm not insane - wish me luck on that one!

He get's his alone time early in the morning before Lizzy and I are up - he'll go play around in the garden before he goes to work and things like that... that's enough for him. I prefer to save up and go for a whole day somewhere special to me. :lol:

I think that's a 'mom' thing - we have so many roles that center around the home, we need an 'escape' once in a while. :animwink:

Right now I've found a flight for $220 round trip... but I'm going to keep watching and hope I can get something under $175. *crosses fingers*

Charleston's a stupid airport. It's such a big tourist destination that we never get the $39 deals around here. Plus we have a tiny airport so that doesn't help.
