Psht. I don't have enough of the "smarty" part in me to do that. Just a random book i read a few months back... pretty convincing but I hate to think all those years of history lessons proved to be useless.
It really doesn't matter if the Chines left a tea cup here in the 1400's, or if the Erikson came for a rest stop. Columbus "discovered" the Americas as far as the Western World was concerned.

Indeed. I really like him, but his songs always make me  like a blubbering baby.

Awww, poor Freddie. :) You did just get a fun little history lesson, courtesy of Jess
I personally don't care for James Blunt.
I dunno why... he is a good singer, I just get annoyed by him. :veryconfu

Thanks Stephiel...

Hello.

Feeling a little grumpy this evening.

We were gunna go out to dindin a little early for VDay tonight, but no dice.
My dad got home late (he had a dr.'s appointment), and has loads of work to do.

My mom is having a "fashion show" (i.e. trying on new clothes) with her friend.

I'm trying to study this history stuff, but can't find the motivation to do it.

I really dislike history.

Its done.

Over.

Nothing I can do about it.

I know the whole "Learn from the past's mistakes" lecture, but really, what in the world am I gunna do to change the course of history?

Hey Freddy, the way I got through History (besides cheating) was to look at every event in History and try to compare it to something that is happening now. It is true that History in some form repeats itself, so just look at a story from the past and find a common theme in something that is happening today. That helped me. (And a smart girl that sat next to me that had very low shoulders)

Making me seriously question the validity of 12 years of history lessons.

Not necessarily, unless you took 12 years of history lessons on blind faith, forgetting that the majority of our book were written by the West, hence, skewed.

Should I be insulted?
Having my "Philly Accent" questioned by a redneck?

 It was from some creepy trucker movie, where a kid was teasing a trucker pretending he was a girl named candy cane... and the trucker ended up catching on and then trying to kill the kid. :lookaroun I HATE scary movies. Every time I hear the word Candy Cane now... I hear it in that creepy voice... Candy Cane... *shivers*
