He live in Abilene TX. about a 4 to 5 hr drive from here.
Too far away to see him on every weekend.

Oh today is not a good day.
In my process to move out of my parents house, I have misplace a thousand dollars somewhere...and I have no clue where it could be. Absolutely no clue. I have looked in my old room (which I don't think it could be there and even if it was, it wouldn't be any more because the guys who layed my mom and dad's carpet would have stolen it.) I looked in all my boxes from the move and I didn't see it there.
I remember taking the money...and saying...I need to put this in a safe place...and that was the last thing I remember. And now I don't remember where that safe place was. Did I put it in a box...or did I put it in my room...which it's not there now...or what did I do with it.
Why didn't I put it by my purse or something so I could take it to where I needed to. Why am I sometimes so dumb? I had been saving that money for 3 years....keeping it safe...and to loose it like this, really upsets me.

Wow Nibbs - that's awful. I've had moments like that, but not with that much $$$. Have you tried retracing your steps? Could it be at your grandmother's house?

I know this kinda sounds crazy but step back, take a deep breath and think. Don't worry about it. Just think and say a prayer. It will be in the last place you look for it.

No...I am almost positive it is either here at my parents or at my house (or stolen). I would have remembered taking it to my grandma's.
I looked in my room here for it though and it didn't feel right...so maybe that's a good sign that it is in fact in one of my boxes...which I don't know how since I looked in them all yesterday...but still....I could have missed it. I didn't take everything out.

Man Nibbs, sorry to hear that! I ussually try to think of what else I did at that point, like right where you say the last part you remember, what else did you do after that, not concerning the money, then sometimes that triggers a thought that I didn't remember. Anyway, I hope you find it!
