I know this kinda sounds crazy but step back, take a deep breath and think. Don't worry about it. Just think and say a prayer. It will be in the last place you look for it.

Hope you find it.
Susan...I've been thinking all night. I realized I didn't know where it was yesterday afternoon and was just now able to look in the places I thought it would be here.

It's like it's on the tip of my tongue...just out of reach and I have no idea where. Nothing is sticking out to me as where I could have put it. I can't believe I have no clue where I put that much money. I mean I have absoutely no clue. No where seem right. I'm really hoping that since I can't find it at my mom's that means I did in fact pack it away.

I bet you DID put it in a safe place, just so safe that even you couldn't get it! I have done that before! It is very frustraing. Especially with money, which is why I don't keep alot of cash around. Not more than a couple hundred grand...

Man Nibbs, sorry to hear that! I ussually try to think of what else I did at that point, like right where you say the last part you remember, what else did you do after that, not concerning the money, then sometimes that triggers a thought that I didn't remember. Anyway, I hope you find it! :o
I was packing my room away. So it could be anywhere. It was a hurried process because my parents wanted all my stuff out that night...since they were getting carpet layed the next day. I had to get almost everything out of my room...and that included off my bookshelves...which was where I had been keeping the money up until that point. (Safe...I know...but I hadn't had any trouble up until this point.)

Could it be in a shoe or a pocet or something like that?
Nope...I know exactly where it is...it's in a change purse that is made of a wickerish type of material. Luckily it wasn't just money lying around...it was in something....but this still doesn't help me if I don't know where the purse thing is.

Eh...just a few hundered grand...that's a drop in the bucket...

Exactly...I put it in so safe a place, even I don't know where. :(
It's even more frustrating because you don't want to stop until you find it...if you find it.

Maybe if you STOP thinking about it, it will come to you. If I'm driving myself crazy trying to remember something or am looking for something, it seems like as soon as I stop thinking about it, it comes to me.

BYE! Keep you eyes in front, NOT on the FDNY

It will turn up Nibbs, and then you'll be saying, "Oh yeah, that's where I put it!"
Happens to me all the time!

So you immeadiatly (maybe) put it somewhere "safe", what do you consider safe? car, luggage, dresser, cabinet, what in your head is a "safe place" It may be odd, what about clothes your wore?

Try to let it go for a while. It will come to you. Do something else for about an hour and then go back to it. That is what my DH says to me when I can't figure where things are.:lookaroun It makes me mad but I do it and then go back and I find it most of the time.:lookaroun

You know Nibbs, I would pray that you find it, but I'm thinking God would be saying "ummm, whose this Nibbs? you gotta name?"

and I'm like no God, that is all I have...
You're so bad Rick!

Thanks! We need to elect a MJ thread Secretary who can keep minutes on these things. It's getting impossible to keep up these days!

We really do, as MJ gets older and I get more busy with her schooling and stuff, I feel so out of it here...

I read about her birthday on the Spot. Sounds like they had fun! I wonder how their car is... has she said anything about that?

And I nominate Dot... or Nibbs...they talk the most apparently :lookaroun

I have to go with my FIL to pick up the van tomorrow...it is going to cost over 2 grand, for which we will be indebted to the inlaws, sigh...I will be so glad to have my own van back, this rental has lots of bells and whistles, but I prefer my van.

Hi Bonny! How's the post-birthday girl today?

Hi Bonny!

Hey there Bonny, how are you today, how is MJ?

Hey y'all...she is kind of out of it today, just sort of lazing around. She doesn't seem to be sick, but she is definitley not herself. We met a couple of CM's who were off duty last night and watched Illuminations with them, they turned out to be really nice kids, they wanted to see MJ again, so I think she has made some new friends.

Hey y'all...we had an amazing day today. Today was MJ's birthday proper, she is six *sniff*

We went to Animal Kingdom, we got to see all the characters in Camp MinnieMickey, then we went to the 1pm FotLK show and after got escorted out to have a meet and greet with the cast, it was just amazing, MJ was in heaven! Then we went *Jambo* on safari, so much fun, we got a great guide. After that we were told to go to the parade gate and we got to ride on MICKEY'S TRUCK for the parade, it was so amazing, MJ just loved it! Then we met up with our friends Michelle and Victor (he is Crush in the new Nemo show) and went to Epcot for some fun in the cold weather.

Since we didn't get to see Nemo yesterday we'll be going back to see that tomorrow and then to Epcot again to hand out birthday cards in the World Showcase (we only got to part of Future World today, so we may have to spend a full day at Epcot to get all the cards handed out) When we do the Easter/Passover/Spring Break/Other Generic Spring Holiday ones I think we may need to double the number of them, they seem to be really popular. I hope they lift the spirits of the CM's

Anyway, off to get MJ ready for bed, I'll be on for a bit in the morning....

I'm glad to hear MJ's birthday went so well Bonny!!!

It will turn up Nibbs, and then you'll be saying, "Oh yeah, that's where I put it!"

I'm hoping.

Um...all the above. You know...anywhere besides the one place that is safe...a bank...:lookaroun

I know it wouldn't be in my clothes. The coin purse I have is too big to fit in clothes...so if it's still around, it's in a box or luggage, or dresser, I did look in my car...nothing there. I did find some change though...but that doesn't equal a thousand dollars. (Yet...)

Try to let it go for a while. It will come to you. Do something else for about an hour and then go back to it. That is what my DH says to me when I can't figure where things are.:lookaroun It makes me mad but I do it and then go back and I find it most of the time.:lookaroun

I think I will...I will just need to dig through everything I own later...but I think I will try to release some of the stress now.

You know Nibbs, I would pray that you find it, but I'm thinking God would be saying "ummm, whose this Nibbs? you gotta name?"

and I'm like no God, that is all I have...

Thanks for making me laugh. :D
