Good morning. How is everyone this morning?

Freddy get you some honey. It won't help at first but keep taking it. If you can find some local honey that is even better.

I won't be here today at least for the morning. So try not to talk tooo much. I have a tough time getting caught up.
Hi Susan - I'll be in and out too this morning.

Morning, whoever is here. So...either I'm bad luck or very lucky, I haven't decided yet. So you all heard that Sunday we had to evacuate our apartment building for a small fire. Well, last night after I left work they had a mass (and very chaotic, from what I'm hearing) evacuation of our office building for a fire!  Apparantly, they were bringing people down from the top floors on evacu-chairs who couldn't walk and everything. (That would've been me if I'd been here w/ my bad calve :) ). The fire completely toasted the 37th & 38th floors and I guess there's sprinkler damage down to 33rd. (There's about 40some floors in the building, I work on 11).
Last night they were saying the building would be closed today, but here we are. Apparantly the building is safe. *crosses fingers*
Anyway, I'm SOO glad I wasn't here...except, apparantly, I missed some cutie-patootie FDNY :brick:

So, how's that arsonist career working for ya?

Good Morning girls! :) OOPS! Girls and FREDDY! ;) Hope you're feeling better soon sweetie.

 For steph! that's crazy girl!

So, how's that arsonist career working for ya?

 Oh betty... LOL

Someone said it was electrical.

I hope there's no hot spots in y'alls walls. There was a fire here in one of the bigger buildings not long ago and after they put it out, 3 more fires started b/c of the hot spots in the walls... apparently they'd been smoldering on the inside for hours and then finally started up again.

Of course, I'm no fireman... and the FDNY is the best. :) So if they say it's safe... I'm sure y'all are just fine.

Does the building stink like smoke today?

Bye Susie!
How scary, Steph!
Where do you work in the City?
53rd & Madison (2 blocks from Rockefellar Center)

YIKES! Well it happened at 5:30 last night so hopefully it's been long enough...

and the FDNY is the best. :)

Not really on our floor. I guess it does on our company's upper floor (25) since they're so close to where it happened.

So is anyone getting anything done today?! I think I'd be a bit distracted.
There's not even very many people here. Last night they were saying that the building would be closed all day. The decided @ 6am that it was ok for the lower floors to be here.

So.... I'm here by myself today.
Both my parents went to work, my mom stayed home with me yesterday.
Annnnnnnd my mom's car wouldn't start this morning. She had to call one of her friends that teaches at her school to pick her up. :/

:ROFLOL: I know....Though I have decided that I will be going to sleep earlier from now on..no more late late nights for Mommy..;)....So I am working on her also...

She never EVER has a meltdown and she rarely fusses or cries...except when something is wrong like when the string was on her toes..:(...She is really soooooooooooo good and happy..she adjusts to everything so well...I think thats a big part of being in NICU soo long...

she is very independent..a blessing and a curse I guess...
