The District Future Problem Solving (FPS) Bowl.
You probably aren't familiar with it, but in a nutshell, it's a sort of six-step writin/problem solving competition.
my team (three other people) got first out of... thirty something. We get to move on to the state bowl
(Not that we didn't expect to move on. We got 2nd in the state last year and went to the International bowl in CO. We just didn't expect first.)

I can perfectly understand your feelings about wokring together. Hopefully lots of patience will help get you through.
People always ask if Jay and I will work together (since he is a Dr. and I am a PA)...I always answer with a very quick NO...we would kill each other!

:lol: That's the problem... Jay and I ARE working together again... AND we're trying to fix up our house together...
But, being the wife of someone self employed... I really don't have a choice but to work with him. I either work with him, or we hire someone, I put kiddo back in daycare and go get a different job. Which created its own set of problems. So... we just have to su ck it up and get on with it. So? :lookaroun

I think that I am a much better person to be around since I started working and found people to talk to (Thank you very much everyone)! When I was sitting here studying/cleaning everyday I would get annoyed at almost everything he did.
So can you take Lizzy with you while you fix up the house?
For some things... like tomorrow I'm just cleaning windows, fans and such. She can putter around while I'm doing that... but I start painting on Wednesday... and she'll have to go to my mama's for that. No way am I letting her in a room with wet paint. :lol:

Probably not a good idea...unless you want a lot smeared walls and a kiddo covered in paint!
I got some new pictures of my nephew today!! SIL said that he was awake for a record 3 hours in a row and she ran out of things to do with him so she thought she would take some pictures
I was just reading through some other threads. Have you ever noticed that there are certain people on these boards who think that just because they work for Disney they are better than the rest of us? It really annoys me and sometimes I find it very hard to bite my tongue and keep quiet!

:lol: yes I've noticed that... I've even NOT bitten my tongue on occassion... :lol: (bad idea) I try to just stay out of the threads when those select few show up. Keeps me out of trouble.
Yay for new baby pics! They grow so quick at that age... ever time you see them they look like totally different people. That's so great!
annnnd I think I need to head out... I'm sleepy and (as you all can tell) rather grumpy. :lol: And I have to have kiddo and I at the new house by 7:45 in the morning so we can sit there from 8-12 while waiting for the electric guy to come and turn everything on.
My luck, he'll show up at 11:59. :lol: But I have a ton of work to do anyway... so I'll be busy until he get's there. Hope you have a great night girly! :wave:
