See...that one's hard. Without a tripod, it's next to impossible, unless you have it sitting on something sturdy.
What I did at a wedding this weekend where I couldn't have a flash was a raised my ISO on my camera (The speed of the film...or what used to be film...don't know what it is any more) to 800 or higher...then I believe I set the F-Stop lower...so I set it to around 2 or 4...however low it could go...and took the photo that way. It let in the light...and it wasn't blury.
At least that's what I think I did...you can try it and find out...not 100% sure...but that's what I believe I did.
your right about the ISO, I keep forgetting about that one. The tripod definitley works, I was resting on a trash can by the restrooms by ariels grotto when I took that one. I was still learning the settings, I love night shots.
