That is here also. Although the girls want pizza and chicken nuggets. Not together. They will eat a bowl of cereal for supper also. So I let them. I will eat a sm sandwich.

DBF eats cereal for dinner alot too. :)

Me too! I'm a cereal nut. LOL I've got lizzy addicted now too. :o She loves her cereal in the morning, cereal snack in the afternoon - and sometimes cereal for dinner if it's a lazy night.

Sesame oil goes in my stir frys... and it's sooooo good. And pretty good for you too. And I make a mean sesame chicken. Also, Sesame noodles with a little cilantro, sugar snap peas, some scallions and toasted sesame seeds...

Now I'm hungry!

Dumb question: Does sesame oil taste like sesame seeds? I can't stand the taste of sesame seeds. (i know I'm weird) :o

Regular Sesame Seeds? Or toasted sesame seeds? The two have totally different tastes, if you ask me.

It adds a heavenly flavor to anything - really makes your asian food smell and taste authentic. You've probably had it already if you've ever had carryout Chinese.

I use sesame oil alot too. Yummy! :slurp:
Marc's been on an oatmeal kick recently... Oatmeal for breakfast lunch and dinner sometimes.
I'm on an oatmeal kick too. I've been eating the WeightControl kind...SO much fiber, it really fills you up. (I sound like a commercial). That w/ a banana (thanks for the tip, Susie!) has become my morning routine :)

Hmmm I'll have to try it. I'm more of a Japanese... sushi gal. But I always order my sushi with no sesame seed's... I know I don't like them plain, but I'm not sure if I've ever had them toasted. I'm willing to try anything once.

It is Mardi Gras time here and they sell King cakes....

Soooo very very good.....:slurp:

Sounds yummy!

my doc told me I had to cut down on my carbs... I'm limted to 3 servings of fruit a day, and a banana counts as 2! It's sooo hard not to indulge in fruits.. that's what I crave these days...

Sushi.... oh, sushi... can't... have... sushi...

sigh.

Honestly, if you havent' had them toasted you don't know what they really taste like. Try it in a stir fry as the oil, that way it's not the star player. You might like it... and if you don't, you can always send the leftover oil up this way...:lookaroun
