Thanks! :sohappy:
Good point. I was planning on springing for the PnP anyways, and this ought to make things easier...

(It's worth it bunny! You'll be so glad you did!)

Hey guys! :) Back from grocery shopping and dropping off our contract... now it's just a matter of waiting! We'll find out Monday by noon if they accept it. :)

So... let me ask you guys... doesn't it just kill you to shop for 20 minutes and drop $100?! We're a SMALL family! It kills me that grocery's are so expensive! *sigh* Ok... end rant. 3 Gallons of milk and 6 meals later... I'm soooo ready to live in a ranch style home. Climbing the stairs with heavy grocery's and a kiddo trying to "do" (aka pull) mommy's hair, to our second story condo is not fun.

Ok sorry had to get that off my chest. :D

$100? What are you buying!?! Goodness...

I usually do my shopping in quick bursts, and a few times a week. That way it doesn't feel so bad... but don't get me anywhere near a super Walmart. I can easily drop $100 there... but if I would have bought it back at a normal grocery store, the bill could have easily been $200 so I don't feel as bad...

I spent $210 a few days ago - had to buy meat, and the cart was filled to the top....:hammer:

Ok ya'll have lost me. I don't know any of the 80's songs. I worked during that time and I had 2 little boys at the time. so it was no hip radio except the songs I knew from the 70's.

I only go once a week or once every 10 days... depending on how long I can stretch out our supply of milk. I get enough for a week's worth of meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. :) That's actually kind of the low end for us... maybe grocery's are more expensive around here? LOL Idk... we're pretty cheap eaters. Sloppy joes (Jay's favorite, a must have once a week) LOL, chicken with chunky noodles (in the crockpot, homeade), lasagna, lunch meat... etc. Nothing too crazy. :)

I was just a kid in the 80's... hey, there's no time like the present to learn!

I get that bad at times. I hate it. And then I have to explain it to DH where our money went to.:hammer:

I KNOW! Jay always gives me this funny look, like how in the world do we need $100 worth of food?! I just give him the eye and look at his belly and say "You don't seem to mind much once it's cooked, now do you?" :lookaroun :p

My Achillies Heel is frou frou ingredients to make my favorite dinners.. I must go through a quart of Sesame Oil every month, and that stuff's expensive!

But otherwise we eat pretty cheaply. Mac n Cheese nights, leftover nights, crockpot meals and the like.

I have never used sesame oil in my entire life. LOL What do you use it on? With? etc?

And yeah... eating with a toddler means lots of Mac n Cheese nights, along with PB&J nights, pasta nights etc.

Sesame oil goes in my stir frys... and it's sooooo good. And pretty good for you too. And I make a mean sesame chicken. Also, Sesame noodles with a little cilantro, sugar snap peas, some scallions and toasted sesame seeds...

Now I'm hungry!
